  1. very cool use of materials and building !~!!
  2. placed a hardwood strip on the corner of the office , in a angle just like the corner on the wide wooden top the door was made by making a flat strip frame , glued the clear glass on the back , but when i will place the door opened and you look inside through the other windows you would see a piece of clear glass glued on the back of the door .. not pretty .. so i used the superthing hardwood veneer and put that on the glass at the back of the door in the same way i did the thick frame .. then used the thin veneer to cover the sides of the door , its now much thicker front and side the backside now in the office carefully loose in the opening just stained the wood , still wet
  3. very cool !! looks awsome !!
  4. these pics are a bit crappy , made them real quick .. but the doorframe (i found out) didnt sit flush against the white at the top , this because i just build without a plan and gradually came to this office without a plan , the bottom was thicker with the silver plating and wood .. so i glued some veneer against the side of the doorframe and flattened it at the fron , some woodstain on it so it was thicker at the top here you see it now wraps around the bottom into the top where the ehite beams are and just sits fluch against everything .. it also looks nice this way (lucky thing) blurry shot but on the right side it also sits perfectly againt the white part then made a strip of wood for the right corner side at the right side of the window in the corner , so its all the same and the ugly seem is gone in the corner when all is done i wil also make skirts from hardwood along the bottom of the garage walls and office
  5. love this woody !!!!!!!!!!!!! haha cool you can even see the jbl logo through the mesh !! mate one small tip , just recently found that out myself .. buy matte photo paper , when printing set it to highest quality and other sorts of high settings and then you will have a print thats 4 times sharper and all is just crisp and readable (going from the pic of the license plate) my prints where like your license plate and only using the thicker / smoother photopaper i got this the first print > and look this flyer is tiny but even readable just a enthousiastic well ment tip
  6. you dont see a lot of flames on models like this , because its just BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH hard to get it right and you did the merc and with those shapes in the front , that just turned out perfect and like whoouuwwww i'm not a real big flame guy myself .. hate it on rods .. but on a merc done right its awsoem and you did it perfect > love it
  7. thnx guys , actually i have bought yellow paint for the bronco to do the moon eyes look .. that is the first build i put on hold .. always finished models when started on them .. tbh in the summer i just didnt feel like it and i have to make a whole custom chassis for that .. so i figured i would put it aside untill i had some inspiration again ... but that will def. be finished this winter i think
  8. finished the window frame , stained the wood added glass , some decals the door frame and door are placed loosely i need to make hinges for the door and fit it to the doorframe , the way the door is placed in the pictures is kind of my idea , opened , hinging inwards ... added a flat strip of wood on the bottom in front of the window , wanted to keep it low there because it would take a way a lot of vieuw when the windowframe was tick at the bottom , to hide the line of the glass i made this flat piece added a crane cams decal on the lift now on the other side of the office i want to make a wide counter , and maybe like opeing windows or a roll down shutter , then i will remove the rich rods logo on the wall and place that on the other wall , then where the logo was i will make a door where you can enter the garage .. the rolling door is chain operated and only from inside so you would not be able to get inside haha sure could virtually be on our wall , the side thats open but thats no fun
  9. just made a window in the upper part of the doorframe started on the first window frame , i got the idea to keep a small window on top just like on the doorframe so it runs through in the window frame and becomes one piece / look
  10. thnx jim ands yes .. pfftt just getting started , will try to add as much detail and stuff in the garage as possible still thinking about a small attic with stairs .... but i have to have like a yes thats it moment and then just build it right away take the windowframes .. wanted to make those first but i could not come up with anything .. now i did the doorframe and just looked at it in place and inidiatly got an idea for the window design
  11. started on the woodwork , all real hardwood .. first i made a flat frame used teh same type of hardwood but then in veneer / superthin , glued that along the edges so there is an edge and you get some depth in the doorframe much better then stained the wood ... i will try to make hinges for the door , maybe out of brass plate and steel pins just loose in its place , such a difference now , when i will make and add window frames on the office .. that will really finish it of and make it look so much better ... for glass i have superthin bendable clear ... a whole plate of the stuff so i can doo all the out and inside windows overall vieuw
  12. thats just stunning !!!!!!!!!!!! love it not a hudge fan of the hand written text (the meaning is cool though) but man that looks sweet
