  1. stunning stuff in here !!! i'm building this charger gasser with mostly custom build hemi , started with the vave covers i had ...still needs a lot of detail
  2. paint is just mindblowing .....absolutly love this , color >design on the roof>stance ... stunning
  3. love it ! , front end looks stunning
  4. thnx hakan ! .. well where the engine comes from.. i dont know ... a while back i got a whole stash of parts and partsboxes from a guy who stopped modelbuilding due to health problems (could not handle glue and paint fuems anymore)..over time i filled up those partsboxes more and more with my own parts ... so a lot of stuff ..i dont know what it is or where it came from ...
  5. loving this build .. and this kit is so much fun .. build this myself ... seats > man that mesch is cool , love the weathered covers .. but could have been cool just in mesch as well .. tank is art
  6. cool!!!!
  7. stunning !
  8. hmm cool !!
  9. googled B&M clutch hydro .. and it loos a bit similair , not completely but close .. so i understand .. in the wuick search and quick reading its perfect for a drag car ? and you shift ... but its stronger then a reguilair transmission ? if so yeeeeyy then this fits my charger perfect
  10. thnx guys ! thnx for the info ... and walter .. tbh this traanmission and bell housing was the best looking what i had , size wise .. all the others where more those revell boxes and didnt match imo .. i thought myself its a automatic box ?? is that right ? something i wanted to ask about here and forgot and now you mentioned it
  11. yes looks stunning .. what is the plan ? leave the lip , rings alu and paint the styrene centers ??
  12. engine is starting to come together .. starte on the detail painting , heads and gearbox are silver , the starter , alternator and oil plug are chrome , irl the difference between the chrome and silver shows better then on pics all the pics are loose dryfits with the painted prts nothing glued yet with the carb. with pulleys , belts , powersteering reservoir and fan chromen valvecover dryfit with all the parts in the cassis , came out way better then i thought .. from a distance , you see its less massive then the close up pics make it look also the bars running from the side of the firwall , those look so thick on close ups but irl look way better still to do / fabricate on the engine > fuellines throttle cable msd ignition with box and other electric stuff masterbrakecilinder and brakelines steeringbox and shafts make headers wiring distributer sparkplug wires will be my most detailed engine ever and i now know all engines need to be build like this in the future .. in a way its a build in a build but so much fun ... a few years back i thought you could not get a lot of detail in a 1/25 scale engine .. so much fun how you grow into the hobby every build and year .. i still want to get into soldering and use more and more metals mixed with styrene .. so much awsome builds here like that
  13. ooh yeaah thats perfect !
  14. pffffffttttt ...stunning !!!
  15. aha crazy indeed !! .. love it .. it also would look cool just straight / next to eitch other , more serious ... but nah just keep it krazy like this hehehe !!
  16. thnx ! pic in daylight > egineblock .. hmm decided on orange .. could be red if you look at the colors of these engines in cargers but i found 2 pics in orange and well hemi and orange go together ..right
  17. awsome ~!! , love it
  18. some stuff makes all the difference , i suddenly got an idea to put a ring on the carb , that edge just was to thick and it looks weird .. found this ring it a button ring for clothing .. with spikes on the back , sanded and filed those off and man .. i love it , first time i really like the carb
  19. thnx tony painted it gold , i tried to give it more of a gold haze so it would be between silver and gold.. man that didnt work so now its gold , added the first small details pipes in the holes ..next i want to make the throttle with cable next to the spring i already put on ....>
  20. bit od sanding corners a tad squared .. and some chrome now i also need to make a throttle cable , arm next to the spring , 4 pipes in the holes ... fuel line ... hakan .. what do you think about doing the carb itself in a gold color ? maybe it would break all the chrome a bit ?
  21. went right at it .. note they can be sanded / filed more in a shape when the glue is dry .. now on the front i will glue a piece under the small one , needed that to get level .. but start is there .. and much apriciated !! i'd rather put in more time and get it looking better .. tbh i was thinking people would say it was to big with float bowls like that .. i saw some weird carbs where they where very small so i ended up with what i showed ... just kind of winged it on the carb , like look at a lot of carbs and then just build something .. not really build from a certain pic ..
  22. yes well t first i did but that seemid a bit to larger at the time .. i will take a look and try to see if i can add some more ..
  23. thnx guys ! and fred , looks great the dominator carb .. when your scartchbuilding its hard to decide on the exact shape / form etc , mine isnt done i will glue in 4 pipes in the hole and give it some colordetail and thomas , yes more then i was planning , especially since i got this charger as a glue-bomb .. in the end it turned into a big project .. and when the engine is done , i still need to make a steeringbox , linkage , brakelines .....then the underside needs work , rear end like axle and suspension.. not to mention the interiour needs to be scratchbuild .... luckely i still have enough work , really enjoying this build .. i dont think i would have started a gasser project if i didnt get this glue bomb .. i tend to go more towards rods and custom rides ... this one shows me a more racy build is way cool ...already thinking about a streetrace car in the future .. bigblock turbo maybe ??
