  1. Interesting. I'm not familiar with this plane at all. Scott
  2. Again, another great review. I maybe have to buy one. At the same time, I'd love to see them do a predecorated version. Placing all of those decals looks a little daunting. I'm also worried about the detail painting required to finish these. And how good is the colored plastic? Can the kits be truly built and look good without painting them over all? Scott
  3. Still one of the most wicked looking planes ever. I love it. Scott
  4. Never knew Major Nelson flew one. I don't remember that. Very cool. Scott
  5. Very nice. Again, you build the stuff I like. I've always loved those early jet fighters. Scott
  6. Very kool! I've been waiting to one of these built. I still have not picked up mine. Scott
  7. My feeling exactly Steve. I do understand. The boattail Riv thing drives me nuts. Holthouse did the best. But, even their roof wasn't quite right. So even though I like Revell's Mustang, I understand why others don't. Scott
  8. Many here know, I love the old Ford GT40s and the modern Ford GTs. But, I've never been a big fan of Ford's GT90. But as time has gone on, I'm slowly starting to like that car too. Enough to pick up the AMT SnapFast Plus kit of the car. To go with my extensive collection of 1/25th and 1/24th scale GT40s and GTs. Two models I'd like to find, and have never seen, are models of Ford's GT40 Mk III and Ford's GT70. I really have my doubts that anyone has ever made a model of a GT40 Mk III. But what about the GT70? It was fairly big news in the early 70's. Showing up in several races in Europe. It was not followed much over on this side of the Atlantic. So I doubt any of the American model companies ever considered offering a kit of the car. But, how about a European company? Especially a British company like Airfix? It's also something that I could see a Japanese company offering. Does anybody know? Has anybody ever offered a plastic kit in 1/25th or 24th scale of a Ford GT70? Heck, I be pleased to have one in 1/32nd or 1/43rd for that matter. Scott
  9. I think I like Revell's interpretation better than the real car after seeing them side by side above. The real Mustang looks like the roof needs to be chopped just a bit. Hummm. Now I don't know what to think. True the roof is too low. But not enough for me to notice without photos like the above. I guess for me, the Revell kit represents the look of the car well enough. It's not going to stop me from building the one I have. Scott
  10. Actually fun to watch. And nice to see how safe it's gotten. Scott
  11. What did the judge say when a family of skunks entered his courtroom? "Odor in the court!" Scott
  12. Very nice. I like it. Scott
  13. As others have said, Wow! A very nice series of models. Beautiful. Scott
  14. Again, another nice one. As I've note else where, this is my favorite of Tom Daniels designs. Also as note, I have two. One I built a year or two ago. And an autographed copy that Mr. Daniels kindly sent to me just last year. Which is one of my most treasured possessions. Scott
  15. Another nice job. You do good work. Scott
  16. Very nice job on a tough to build kit. Of Big Daddy's stuff, its still my favorite of his designs. I built one from the tin box release a few years back. With a little care and patience it turned out great. Scott
  17. Tom's best design in my opinion. I have two. One built. And one in a box signed by Tom Daniels. Scott
  18. I love it. The '59 Fords are still one of my favorites. And a Ranchero to top it off. Nice job. Scott
  19. Looks great! Another cool kit I have on the back burner waiting to be built. I like you taste in cars. Scott
  20. Again, very nice. I like it better in red, rather than orange like the one. But, still nothing beats Mr. Yuck ? poison green. Scott
  21. Looks great. Good save. Love those old Imperials. Scott
  22. Another nice Indy car model. It looks like you do God work. Scott
  23. Very cool. One of the greats. Scott
  24. Looks nice. Which kit is it? Scott
