  1. I've always liked Tom Daniels Scool Bus better. But, still you did a nice job. Scott
  2. Another nice job on another cool kit. Scott
  3. The green one looks better. Poison and the color green go together. Remember the green Mr. Yuck ? stickers? Scott
  4. One of my "holy grail" kits. I love it. Revell/Monogram needs to reissue this kit in that version, and that color! Scott
  5. Looking at the kits shown above, I do not see the problem? They all look good to me. Scott
  6. Sound like somebody worth checking out in the future. Scott
  7. Pretty cool! It seems to have the right sound even. I like it! Scott
  8. Interesting that there have been no replies to this posting. I don't know what to say? What is it? What are showing us? What are you looking for comments on? What scale are we looking at? Sorry to say, despite the fact that I love trains, I don't see much in this photo to relate to. I'm sure that why others have not responded also. Tell us more. Better yet show us more. What special about this "3 x boxfile" layout? What a "3 x boxfile" layout? It might be interesting if we knew more. Scott
  9. Another (two) cool build(s). Again, I like you choice of subjects, and the quality of your builds. Scott
  10. Uncle Martin's car? That was not a car. That was the ship he use to get to Earth from Mars. Still a very cool looking model. Is that the pre-painted version? Or did have to paint it yourself. Scott
  11. Fun to see somebody finally build one of these. Also a little scary. Within the last month or two I finished building both the Lindberg/Pyro Cord and Auburn. And they were not very easy kits to put together and make look right. From look at your build so Alan, this old Lindberg/Pyro reissue looks as bad as their Cord and Auburn kits. I have one in waiting. But, now I'm little afraid to start it. Scott
  12. You need to show us and tell us more about these builds. Was the very first posting the Moebuis kit? And how did you decide to use the colors you did for the interior? It looks more colorful than I would expect or remember. As from see this and your other work, I'm always impressed. You do and great job and have similar interests to mine. So I always enjoy your postings. Scott
  13. The above looks like it could be a little tough to build. Multi-piece tires? Getting things lined up and round? No thanks. Scott
  14. Very cool. The Aurora model does look good. Now I wonder what the Lindberg one looks like. Scott
  15. So Steve, are you saying the proportions of Revell's '90 Mustang LX look good to you? Or not? There was a lot of complaining when it first came out about the roof. I bought one, and really didn't notice a problem. I liked the kit. Even though I have not gotten around to building it yet. When I do, mine will be an imaginary Minnesota State Patrol marked car. I already have had decals made. Minnesota did use a few Mustangs back in the day. But, they were unmarked cars. Scott
  16. I just notice after you responded, that I called you "Don" rather than David. Sorry about that. It maybe a Freudian slip. I do think there was a Don Yost writing about model cars or real cars at one time. Either way, I guess your not him. But, your models still look great. Keep showing us more. Scott
  17. I know nothing about the kit or the real car. But, I like the model you posted above. It looks pretty cool. Scott
  18. I still like the old AMT 60's hardtop kit the best. It goes together nice, and looks good when it's done. The one from the 90's is okay. But, something doesn't look quite right with that kit. And I don't know what? I haven't looked at one in several years now. I've always been a little intimidated by the old Revell kits. I've always found Revell kits designed in the 60's to be a little trickier to build with their working features. Revell's '57 snap kit is very nice. But it's only a curbside. Revell vs Monogram's '57 Nomad? The Monogram builds easier. But, looks way too boxy. Fat and squashed. Just not right. The old Revell Nomad, a little though to build. But, looks right when done. I have not built Revell's '57 sedans or convertible. So I can not pass judgment on those. The sedan I have seen look good. And reports I've heard are good. The convertible I have not seen, or anything about. I don't know anybody who has built one yet. Scott
  19. Wow! Very cool. Looks like so many real vans you use to see running around back in the day. I love the interior and it's contents. Great job. Scott
  20. A very nice job on this Bronco. It looks great. Scott
  21. Wow! Very nicely done. It looks like a pickup from the 60's. I like it. I like it a lot. Scott
  22. Nice build. The story is a little cliche. But I'm enjoying it too. Keep it coming. Scott
  23. Alan, I'm looking forward to seeing more from you. Especially your Coronado build. I've picked up the kit, but haven't done anything with it yet. I'm also waiting for somebody to do a review on Lindberg's Owens Cabin Cruiser kit. I have not picked that one up yet. Scott
