  1. All these are so good....We have some amazing modelers on this forum....Outstanding....
  2. Can't believe I've been working on this for 3 months.... That's an eternity for me....
  3. Thanks, Kenny...I used the rims and tires out of the 1/20 scale Pete 359....They are just right for this kind of trailer in 1/16 scale....
  4. LOL !!!That is so true....Not too many ways to do that to a Volvo....
  5. I also want to that all you guys, here on the forum, that keep me motivated.....Especially Dan, Carl, Kenny G, Gator, Terry, Sean, Jesse, and Dennis, in particular....You guys are great modelers, and I really appreciate your input and support on all these projects.... And, again, thanks Clayton....You've got a great eye for this stuff....Can't wait to see what you do with that Volvo....
  6. Looking good, Man.....Looking good.....You're really getting on it, Man....Glad you're back....
  7. Thanks, Man....You know, I still have some more vinly printed graphics a buddy of mine made for me for my 1/16 scale race hauler....It will be similar to this.....
  8. Hey, that's a good idea for the floor, Clayton.....And easier to execute, too....I just may do that.....Thanks, Buddy....You're pretty smart, Dude....Man, that's a good idea....Or even a combination of spattering and checkerboard.....Hmmmm......Now, why didn't I think of that?? And I may just consider building another roof with openings, too....
  9. Man, that does look good.....I'm itching to build something in 1/16th, again, now....
  10. Got some more done on this thing.....I've painted the interior parts in a scheme I think might work in the real world....Orange with stainless steel counter tops and such....This is the general layout I've come up with...Still not sure how I want to do the lounge area or if I even want it for that.....That area up front is mostly used for computer analysis and other stuff more than lounging, these days....But, then again, this ain't replicating any particular trailer, anyway.... I think I'm gonna make some sliding drip pans for the middle of the car rack, here and there..... Amazing what comes out of those old AMT trailers.....These steps were just what I needed, here.....The flooring will be painted orange with black spattering, or vise versa....Haven't decided, yet....What do you guys think??
  11. LOL !!! Judging by how well you've done with this thing, I'm sure you could do a much better job, but it would be my pleasure to build a trailer shell for you.....I'd have to be on top of my game to build one for you, though....This bad boy is tremendous.....
  12. Very nice work.....This is one serious build, Man.....Awesome....
  13. Nothing poor about this start.....I like the way you set the Pete and old 40' trailer on the back of that Moebius.....Shows how much more cargo can be transported these days.....Even with the stretch, it struggles to be any longer than the 53'er.....(What it wants to be when it grows up)
  14. Great job, so far....Love the figure....What a stretch....Impressive flame job....
  15. That looks great, Man....Very nice work....
  16. It's looking pretty good, Man.....Like that go faster stripes on the side and at the top....Looks cool....
  17. Thanks, Robert.....I appreciate that great feedback.....To be honest, I can't wait to do something similar in orange.....Bought two more cans the other day.....
  18. Yep.....This thing is mighty impressive.....The dump body is coming along, nicely....
  19. Yeah, this looks good, Man....This looks good.....You've got a great start....The hinges look fine to me....
  20. Man, that's looking great....Not sure how I missed this one....I'm liking everything I see....
  21. Hey, Bud....You might think about using the back of the blade, next time.....I was given this tip once a long time ago, and it worked out great for the only door I ever opened.....It carves away the plastic as opposed to separating it making a really smooth cut.....With several passes, it really worked well......I know hind sight is 20/20, but I know it works.... Actually, I quoted the wrong passage, but that's what happens when you start getting old.....
  22. Just beautiful....Who didn't want one of these when they came out?? Great job of replicating a car that I, for one, was fascinated with as a kid....Awesome.....Love the 80's sports cars.....
  23. Very nice work.....Very nice....This was the car to have back in the day....Man, I miss these.....I may have to get a hold of one to rebuild....A 1:1, that is.....Great job....
  24. I didn't know you did that one, Dan.....That's a beauty.....
