As you can see, the tandem slides....One of these days I'll try my hand at some plumbing, but for now, this is pretty much it....Thanks for following my build.....This one was good fun.....Next post will be in the Under Glass section.....God bless you....

Man, this is a good kit.....All I need to do, now is add some decals, marker lights and a tractor....The truck I already have and will display it with this trailer in the Under Glass section, soon....But, here's what I have, right now....I glued the air pressure tank to the undercarriage so the tandem could be displayed wherever and fitted the skirts....I have to say I'm really liking the way this one turned out, and Moebius has produced us a beautiful kit.....We need more tractors from these guys, because I really think they know what they're doing....

Hey, thanks, Boys.....Always cool when you boys chime in.... Dave....That paint doesn't take too kindly to any sort of contact after it's applied.....Really, the trick is to lay it on kind of thick.....It covers very well and likes to be applied in one coat....Usually, the way it looks wet is the way it will look dry.....So if it looks fuzzy when applied, just spray some more, a little thicker, and it usually goes away....But, man does it look good afterwards.....You really have to resolve in your mind that you can NEVER EVER touch it....

This is becoming quite an interesting build, Clayton....I'll keep checking in on this one from time to time.....It's looking pretty good.... Man, you know a lot about Petes, Tim....

Side skirts and major undercarriage assemblies made.....I used .060 plastic stock for the skirt pieces with a lip made at the top with some Evergreen strip....Don't know what size....Anything would have done ok for this, so it's not important.....And I used some HO scale train track from Plastruct I got from a local hobby shop long since gone for the structure pieces.....Very simple and will look pretty convincing once attached.....All that remains is to do the wheels and tires and slap this sucker together....

I don't think it would be at all....I just didn't want that on this truck.....And, if you can get a hold of an Italeri VN 670 kit, it's set up with single exhaust, already....Should be an easy transplant, that way....
