I have to admit, these old KW snappers look pretty darned good.....I'm really diggin' the color choice, too.....You can't beat the price, for sure......And with a little TLC, they look great.....Awesome job.... -

Great job, Man.....It's great to see guys getting the kids into this hobby.....I got my two of my sons into it.....My 15 year old hasn't gotten the bug, yet, but I'm hopeful.....I have 4 grandchildren and one on the way......3 girls and 2 boys, so far......(The bun in the oven is a girl)....Anyway....Great job on the model.....I'm diggin' that orange, for sure.....

This is a great looking start to an awesome looking offering.....I'm really liking the wheels....I've got 2 of these in the garage, and I didn't know it came with all those wheels.....Never looked very closely at the contents.....Very nice work, so far..... I didn't even know there was a section for large scale models..... Wow......I've got some browsing to do......

You've done a wonderful job on this one, Man.....I've always wanted to build this one....Since I was a kid !! Never had the money back then.....And, now that I'm older, I STILL don't.....Due to Ebay prices.... Anyway...This is a great representation.....Everything is clean and well assembled.....Like you said, I don't notice any flaws in the paint or decals.....Beautiful job..... -

Revell Ford Expedition Police

You should be able to source those rims from the Revell F-150 Lightning model.....I always liked that setup on the Expeditions..... -
Lol!!! Oh, it ain't mine.....Somebody paid me to do that......I wish I did have a set up like that, but I don't make that kind of money.....

Value of Vintage Tyrone Malone kits
kilrathy10 replied to Rider's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I'm in agreement with the general consensus, here.....I will, totally, buy about half a dozen of the new re-releases when they come out.....Depending on how many they make, and for how long, it would be a good time to stock up......I remember the AMT K100 Aerodyne being re-released years ago, and all of a sudden, they were gone.....The value of those skyrocketed soon after.....Those were just Tyrone Malone trucks without the bed.....Same as with the reissue of the Revell triple axle wrecker, most recently.....Those were out of production after only a year, I think......Now, you can't get one of those for less than a $150.....And that's a GOOD price.....So when the Papa trucks DO come out, get a few of them, at least....You'll be kicking yourself, if you don't...... And that's the truth, Leo......It's only worth what you can get for it...... -
I had to put a bunch of windows into some garage doors.....Total custom job.....Came out pretty good.....Needed 6 tubes for each door.....
-
Oh, yeah....I agree about the rounded bases.....None of the cones pictured are finished.....I needed to see if the glue I used would work......Not sure what kind of plastic the caps are made of.....I have a couple of real orange cones I use, so I have good reference and know about the rounded bases.....Once I get them the way I think they ought to be, I'll post some pics with them in use.....Set up in a dio, I think they'll do well..... The cool thing about cones is, there is no real standard size.....If you go to Home Depot and look around, You'll see they have 3 different sizes.....You gotta use your imagination, Boys.... I love finding this kind of stuff......

OOOO WEEEE !!!! I'm diggin' it, Man..... Yeah, I've stalled on it....I'm going to get back on it, but I've been so busy at work, these days.....Every time I want to get onto something, I'm just too tired.....It's been kind of hot outside, too.....My AC conked out in my truck, and when I get home, I just want some cool air.....I've got three on the bench besides that one, too.....Oh my goodness.....Eventually, I'll get to all of them.....More than likely, they'll be built in quick succession..... Thanks for that pic, though.....There are a few aspects that may find their way onto my version.....

Stumbled across these buying some caulk for a job..... Couldn't believe my eyes.....I needed 2 cases of these things, and while heading up to the register, it hit me......Orange cones !!!! I pulled every top off of them and put them in a bag for safe keeping.....Then I got home and cut up some square bases and this is what I came up with......Although, I think they'll be OK without the bases, but I had to make a couple examples, anyway......

You got it to come out pretty good....Those long Cadillacs do take up a lot of room.....I know you had a hard time getting that one on the lower deck in there, for sure....Looks great.....If you ever have any more to put on that thing, I have a bit of a suggestion..... You can add extensions to both ends of it to make the upper deck a little longer......As I've done, here... Keep up the good work, Man.....You can never have enough car haulers..... -
Welcome aboard, Alan....Glad to have you.....I've shopped Megahobby quite a few times, and everything I've ever purchased has been well received.....Love your selection.....From trucks to space ships.....Thank you for running a top notch company.....

I agree with everybody else on this one....The engine stands out.....The build is pretty clean, overall, and I do like the interior.....But, you did a great job on the engine bay....It's cool to see all the ways this simple model can be dressed up.....Great job.... -

Looks pretty darned good, to me.....Great job using your imagination on this one....I'm sure somebody could have something very similar in 1:1, If they had thought of using a DR....I think it's awesome.... -
48'x102" aluminum spread axle flatbed
kilrathy10 replied to KJ790's topic in Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
Awesome work, Man....It's amazing what you can do with a little bit of flat plastic.....I've built a couple of these, myself; and I've often wondered why model companies haven't considered offering one of these.....Couldn't possibly be that hard....I've scratched step decks up in a couple of days.....Great work on this one, though....I know you've got some tool boxes to go with it somewhere, as well..... -
