Got some paint laid down.....Took these pics from my phone....It's actually much smoother than it appears....I'll have to get some better shots, later....

Got a little more done between last night and today.....Got the wheels on and all that's left for the kit stuff is the plumbing.....I've started the Lonestar, as well.....I've got a really good feeling about this whole model....This is starting to get fun....

Thanks, Boys....It's good to be back....I don't know what cars I'll be sticking on the back, but I do know it will get a Lonestar up front.....I'll be working to get that started very soon....Also a set of Moebius wheels and tires will adorn the suspension.....Other than that, a few more custom touches and this will be done....This is what I have done thus far.....

I saw one of these on the road about 2 weeks ago with this exhaust setup and all I could do was drool.....I couldn't get a shot of it, though.....It was on the other side of the freeway....

Finally got something else going.....I can't believe it's taken me this long to come up with something else to build....Been working a lot, but even when I wasn't, the inspiration bug would not bite....Well.....It bit the other day.....Started this car hauler reissue.....Somehow, I think I can convert this into a 7 car hauler, but not this time....I'm going to build this one box stock, for the most part, but with a few custom features you'll see later.....And that's right, Boys....It WILL be orange, too.....Dropped the paint on it just about an hour ago.....Anyways....Here's what I got so far......

Good job on this one...I see you may have had a bit of a problem with the hood fit, but it still looks nice.....I really like this model.....I agree, they should have gone a bit farther and put an engine in it, especially for what it costs; but as a modern truck display model, it still looks good....And, since there are no other Volvo VN's in 1/24 or 1/25 scale, this is the one.....You've done a fine job on it....I hope you have better luck on the hood on the 780.....

Yep....This is a very nice looking model....I'd love to see a reissue of that trailer, as well.....Awesome build, Man.....As I said before....Outstanding !!!

Even the underside looks great.....This is a great build.....And, I for one, appreciate the Euro builds.....Even the classics....I don't know that much about these trucks, but they sure are fun to look at..... I like the more modern European trucks, admittedly, though....I think my favorites are the Merc and Man tractors.....I just love what they do with the limited amount of space a cabover can offer....And how they make a box on wheels so aerodynamic........It's just amazing.....

What a good looking truck....You've done a Beautiful job on this thing.....A very classy and tasteful take on an American icon....I absolutely LOVE that paint scheme....That blue and white over orange.....WOW!!! I never would have thought those colors would look so good together......Outstanding.....
