  1. That is just way cool Al. Great workmanship.
  2. That is sweet, I love the flat top design, It looks great on all the GM body styles.
  3. Wow, that is one sweet build Mario.?
  4. Thanks guys, yes, all that BMF was a beast lol. But like Scott said, well worth the time. The real car was custom painted this color by George Barris to match an outfit that Marilyn had and loved. This wasn't a factory color for '59. It was originally Persian Sand, hence the interior color. Here's the real car.
  5. Again, thank you all. Eric, the real car was originally Persian Sand on the exterior, George Barris painted it the Gold color for Marilyn to match an outfit color she really liked. The interior was left original, that's what I liked about it, it's different but still compliments the exterior.
  6. Thanks guys, I do appreciate it, it'll fit nicely in my collection of "famous/movie/star" cars.
  7. I've been working on it for a couple of weeks and just finished it last night. Full detail with BMF, carpeting and the PE set from MCG. It is a curbside model. Thanks for looking.☺️
  8. Hey Buddy, glad to see ya post some more pics of your amazing work.
  9. Finally finished it up last night. hope ya like it, it was a fun build. Thanks for taking the time to check it out, it is much appreciated.☺️ The real car. and my build, is it perfect? Nope, but I'm happy with it. My Father-in-law was a big Marilyn fan so this was built as a tribute for him, rest his soul.☺️
  10. Oh man, I can't wait to see this one done, I love the '61 Chevy's, they are gorgeous cars.?
  11. I understand Roger, it's coming along great.??
  12. I don't know about a bad man driving it...........................He's probably EVIL.? Seriously though, that is one sweet build Ryan. Two thumbs up, I'd give it more if I had more thumbs.☺️
  13. Whoa..............that baby rocks. Absolutely amazing build David.
  14. Maybe it's just me but that rake looks perfect, gives it that badass stance. That rear 3/4 view couldn't be more perfect to my eyes, WOW!!!!! Everything else looks spot on too. Exceptional work thus far.
  15. I may be one of the few but I've always liked the style of the '60 Ford and you done it more than justice. That is stunning.
  16. Wow, I'm blown away David, that is absolutely stunning. I gotta wipe up the drool now.?
  17. Wow, you'd never know that was the same model. Exceptionally done Helmut.?
  18. Thanks guys, I do appreciate the kind words, they do keep me motivated. Bill, I used Rustoleum Rustic Pink and Vintage blush. i was trying to get as close as possible to the real cars colors off the shelf. It's not perfect but close enough to represent the real car. The colors ARE closer to the real colors, they just showed up lighter in MY pics under LED's. In natural light they look a lot closer.☺️
  19. Getting closer with the interior, I'm waiting on the PE set to finish it up.☺️
  20. I like it Mattias, the color looks great. Just an idea if it's attainable there. I use Mothers Mag & Aluminum Polish on the bare metal, a few times going over it and it'll shine almost like real chrome.☺️
  21. Carl, it is 1/24.
  22. Man for $18 you sure didn't get hurt, those look pretty darn good. A friend had one like the white version back in the day, it was roomy and rode great.
  23. That's a sweet setup George, I'm diggin' it.?
  24. LOL, you're welcome Gary. They got the proportions better than either Mint, that's why I never got the DM or FM versions.?
