If u have ever been is south west Louisiana u may have seen thease trucks up and down the road ..this is a replica of a local co. in Lake Charles Louisiana..( Dunham Price Inc.) back in the early 80s.this started with the amt autocar and the kenworth mixer kit...the truck is completed wired and plumbed..i add magazines in the cab..water hose,,rubber chute straps..i open the fuel and water tanks..weather it with foquil mud -dust and real concret wash...the paint was gave to me by the co. and the decals (rub ons ) were shrunk down to 1/25 scale by the local co. that did the 1 to 1 truck....
  2. back in the day Robert they wasnt much photo etch around..a buddy down in new orleans did them,,and i still have a few..lol..i cut maskin tape and dusted floquil mud all over truck and trailer , then toped it off with real mud mixed with white glue and real pine tree bark..
  3. thank men....small world Jim..i was raised on Anacoco Lake.. hauled pup wood growing up around Leesville before i moved south...and yes we have a lot of the 4 bunk trailers down here to now also...but im still like a fold up pole truck.....
  4. this is a Mack logger southern style i built in the early 80s. down in centeral louisians and all through the south thease self loading fold up pole trucks are common..the trailer is scratch built useing some parts from the amt log kit..scratch built chane binders..engine and drive train all wired and plumbed..this truck was feathered in scale auto mag. # 56
  5. this was my first log truck i built back in the early 80s..has all elect. air and water lines..

  8. i need any after market web sites that deal with big rig after market parts..been out of building for 15 years...help..
  9. i have been on the side line for 15 yrs not building ..i have lost .. (or all the co. have changed names) how to contact any of them..any help on any after market dealer ..on old parts for sale would be a great help..
