Source for ~1952 Ford wheels?
Kayma367 replied to gator52's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I would be interested in these as well; I have several police car projects that require the steel wheel/small hub cap set up pictured above. Whether resin or 3D printed, I would be ready to purchase several sets. -
To add to what Ricky wrote above, Star Models also has a '56 Sedan Delivery. This looks to be about 80% of where you want to be as the roof height and door placement are the same as mentioned earlier. Cut out the panels for the rear windows and finesse the trim to accurately reflect that of the 210. Use the 'Nomad kit for the chassis and running gear. I would shoot Steve an email to see if it is still available: SteveKohler@cox.net.

Star Models still has this one in their catalog: http://www.resinrealm.net/Star/STAR Models/56_Chevy_210_4dr_Sed.html You might want to send Steve an email and see if he still has this in stock. I ordered mine from him about a year ago.

Dog Dish Caps to '69 Camaro or Nova??
Kayma367 replied to impcon's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
$6.00 for exactly what you see above. Fireball is one of the best out there today, buy with confidence. http://www.fireballmodels.info/ -
Dwayne... I'm sure I'm already on the list for one of these Novas, but I thought I'd double-check now that the master is almost finished. And you can also add my name for the '73 Chevy. Oh... and the LeMans Enforcer. And any other police car/4 door sedan that manifests itself from your brain into resin from now to eternity. Your stuff is amazing!

Here are two that I built about 18 years ago. Still holding their own in my showcase and representative of my favorite TV shows growing up. 1972 LACoFD "Squad 51 from "Emergency!" and the 1969 Plymouth Belvedere from "Adam-12."

You NEED this book!
Kayma367 replied to Terry Jessee's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I received this book via Amazon late last Saturday and had completely read it from cover to cover by Tuesday night. Tim, a fantastic job on an extremely detailed and thoughtful presentation of the muscle car kits I lusted after during my childhood (and quite frankly, still do). And a special "thank you" for your candid observations on which versions to purchase and more importantly - which to avoid - when trying to model a specific version or showroom stock replica. This information alone is worth the price of admission and I highly recommend everyone pick up this book and treat it as the invaluable tool it will be as you research future projects. Kudos to Tim and all the books contributors for your continued service to the hobby, this book is IMPRESSIVE! -
Excellent work on the interior (as well as the rest of this master), Dwayne. Since it sounds like you will be casting this one too down the road, I will ask to be added to the queue promising to purchase two kits when they are finished and available. Why stop with the '88-'91 Crown Vic!

70's Plymouth Fury front end?
Kayma367 replied to Andrew D the Jolly Roger's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Try the following site: http://magister-plasticum.com/ 3D printed masters and resin cast product. They are out of Portugal, but I ordered the '77 & '78 Plymouth grill and headlights and was pleasantly surprised by both the overall quality and the quick delivery time. You can order the '75 & '76 single round headlights and finagle the '77 grill to add the parking lights, etc. (or find a builder '75 Roadrunner and steal the grill). Much better than what is posted above. As mentioned earlier, I know Missing Link offered a '76 Plymouth Fury 4 door trans kit at one time (I have one); you might want to PM him through this forum and see if he still offers the kit, or perhaps the grill and lights. -
76-77 LeMans Enforcer 0r Smokey & Bandit Sheriff Justice Car
Kayma367 replied to DEL's topic in WIP: Model Cars
I'm with you DEL. My Dad was a local LEO in NJ, senior man on day shift who always somehow managed to get a new patrol car every year. While the family ride was pretty consistent, I fell in love with all of the hi-po 2- and 4-doors that graced our driveway. You keep crafting these beauties... I'll be ready with the cash when they come to market.- 115 replies

76-77 LeMans Enforcer 0r Smokey & Bandit Sheriff Justice Car
Kayma367 replied to DEL's topic in WIP: Model Cars
Outstanding work, DEL. Assuming Greg is going to cast this one as well, it looks like I'm going to go broke buying all of these new castings. Now if I can only persuade someone to create my "holy grail," the 1972 AMC Matador Enforcer (hint, hint).- 115 replies

1966 chevy nova sedan (post)
Kayma367 replied to R. Thorne's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Bandit Resins offers this body style and it is currently available; $30.00 for the body only. I have purchased many of his resin bodies and have yet to be disappointed. http://www.banditresins.com/1966_nova.html John
