    I just sold a built 1/43 scale GTM Thomas Cheetah on Ebay for 42.00. People go crazy for these things!! I was hoping to raise the finds to buy one of the HRM Cheetah and Daytona Cobra kits. Getting close to one of them!!

    You should have waited longer to buy!!!! . All the Tamiya cars that he had ended up being marked down for 6.00 each and the Revell/ Monogram stuff was 5.00. He tried to sell me the 1/12 for 60.00, then 55.00, then 50.00, i walked away and came back an hour later and got it for 45.00. I talked to him several times and he told me that he had all ready made him money back on the collection he had bought and kept alot so everything he made that day was all extra cash. I almost made him an offer on everything he had left but i spent a good bit of cash that day.

    If it had not been tossed 3 months ago when i was told by Revell Customer Service that a new one would be here in 4-6 weeks that might be an option. It also had bent and cracked the passanger side windshield post to the point it would have been hard to fix it and the repair be unnoticeable. Not something i cared to do with a new kit that was only on the market for 3-4 days when all this happened.

    No they are curbside kits. I have a racing diorama and an Old garage find diorama builds planned with a couple of them. I do have the one with the engine, its was one of my dream builds, along with the Gunze Daytona Cobra. I found both of those on Ebay still sealed. I have never spent that much on just 2 kits in my life!!!! Lets say this, what i spent for those 2 would have paid for half the stuff in that picture!

    Thanks. I was excited to get it all. I even got a Super Detail kit for a Tamiya Porsche 911 GT1 from Scale motor sport for a whopping 30.00.     My score from the show today in Anniston, AL The 2 semi kits in the bottom left are a Sealed Revell of Germany Ferrari kit and a open but sealed Italeri Subaru World Rally Team kit.     LOL What were we thinking!! I have got most of the warp out of the frame, im hoping once the axles are mounted it will be good to go.

    I just started mine last night. I have never seen a kit that the directions were this bad and they show a part number but the parts trees don't have numbers!! WTF?!?! lol I picked a heck of a kit to make my first Semi build!! I will be watching your build.

    Lock this thread all ready. Clearly nothing positive can be said about the new Mustang kits.......it will ALWAYS revert back to this whining about the roof, nevermind the nice parts that come with the kit......ITS ALL ABOUT THAT DANG BODY! Bunch of crybabies

    Nope, he said the whole reason the UPC and proof of purchase thing happened was the amount of people calling in requesting bodies for this kit. What is sad is the fact that i was so excited about this kit that right after i ordered the new body i bought another kit so i could start to build it right away.......well guess what!! The 2nd kit was missing a tire, both front spindles and the rear glass was broken. All that stuff was ordered over a month AFTER the body was and it all showed on Feb 26. That was the reason for my call to find out where the body was at, that was when i was told i needed the UPC BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH.....

    Just got off the phone with Revell. Ordered my replacement body 4 days after the Foose 1/12 scale camaro kit was released (mine roof was split down the seam)......fast forward to Feb 26, i call back and ask about it and was told i needed to send in proof of buying it before a replacement would be issued, THANKS FOR CONTACTING ME AND LETTING ME KNOW ABOUT THAT A FEW WEEKS EARLYER!!!!!!!!. On Feb 28 Proof was sent and i got a reply email saying that my order was re-instated and would be mailed out in a few days.. Called back a few mins ago and now im told that my Re-instated order was lost in house and now my new order is at the back of the line with a entered date of March 4th...............OH AND THEY ARE OUT OF BODYS NOW AND IT COULD TAKE "A FEW MONTHS" TO GET MORE IN........GREAT!!!! Ive only had to wait 3 BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH months for this body, now i have to wait a few months more.........REVELL YOU HAVE LOST ME AS A CUSTOMER!!!!!! As soon as this body shows up im selling the BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH kit and NEVER looking back.....GOOD BYE REVELL!!!!!

    Mine is from restuition? from an old court case. I left a new address when i moved out of state but guess it was never recorded. I do know i was awarded several hundred dollars from the outcome of the court case. Worth a shot i guess.
