Went to K-mart looking for 50% off toys for Xmas and found several kits for 9.00. I picked up this one.

Looks much better.

Cant say i care much about it, looks right to me. After all this was built in late Feb/ early March and i made the thread for it in early April. FYI not all 1970 Boss 302 had a black painted trunk lid.

I need to pick up 2 more of these before they quit selling them.

I cant work without a clean table, looks good.

I might get to go once every 2 weeks or so.

Where did you find the gold rims like the ones that are on the black Mustang by the turbo RS box? They look like a good copy of the 10th anniversary rims found on the 2003 cobra 10th anniv editions. Id like to get a set or 2.

Is the body painted a Flat or Semi-gloss?

I must only be the only one that doesn't really care for them. I've used them on 4 different builds and had problems out of each can. 1 the paint wouldn't dry after 3 days, paint felt and looked like it was just sprayed and started to sag and run after the 2nd day. I want to say it was a red color, ended up tossing it in the trash. On a Mustang and a Shelby series 1 i used a racing blue and and a black color, they came out good till the clear coat went on. They both turned flat after the clear dried, Humidity was low and it was an 75 degree day. The gloss was better before the clear. Used a gloss yellow on a Corvette Le mans car and it also came out flat. Mist coated some Model Masters ultra gloss Lacquer on it and got a great gloss to it. I have also had Tayima gloss clear turn decals flat when trying to clear over them. Ive had a lot of weird stuff happen using their paints but i love the fine primers!! Best primer i have ever used!!

Their prices are still cheaper than the LHS and Hobbytown USA without using a 40% off coupon.

I started shooting B&W 35mm when i was 14, i spent every penny i made on film and processing only to have 50% of the pictures to turn out not to my liking. When i got my first digital camera 6 years later i thought they were so expensive till i figured out what the pictures would have cost me if i was using 35mm. Now it doesn't bother me to spend 600.00 on a used lens.

There's not. Anymore you have to send it in to get developed. The cost of that and buying film are just going to keep going up. I'll just stick with my trusty Canon T2i DSLR.

Got some Tamiya primer and 2 bottles of wash from The Detailer.com. Never used the detailer washes before, hope they are good.

Got the last can of white fine primer at mine today!!

Im going tomorrow, you better have left me some!!!!
