Working on the back wall now. Will get plywood on it and the front wall tonight then tomorrow will be figuring out what i want to do for a base. Made it 2" longer so i have room to add a work bench and tool boxes on one side, width is now 24' wide. Untitled by jrherald420, on Flickr

Its called Balsa & Basswood Glue by Midwest Products. Its a white glue that dries clear but its thicker than Elmer's white glue. Works pretty good for what im doing.

Easy solution, buy another kit and do both! Michaels sent out a 50% off coupon good for today and tomorrow only!!

Don't forget the strips on the roof are the same color as on the doors.

Thanks Richard! Got plywood on the left hand wall last night and finished the framing on the right hand wall. Going to plywood that one here in a few mins then build the front and rear walls next! The Chopper has helped me speed up building a lot! Its worth every penny it cost!

Cool. Will be watching.

Its not bad, it is really small. I have made it longer and i am going to make it a lot wider. Thinking about making it a 2 door front with a work space on each wall.

USPS dropped off a killer box for me today. This is not the normal Chopper III, its longer than the one you can buy with the extension and has 3 chopping stations. Cost me a whopping 46.00 shipped Priority Mail. Untitled by jrherald420, on Flickr

That's what i was figuring, kinda why i asked if anybody else had ordered from Megahobby. My whole order including the preorder of this camaro says its shipped and will be here Monday. IDK im not expecting it to show.
-
Thanks. Work should start back up today when my new tools get here.
-
Yup, other than that its a good kit. Ive got another one in the stash to build.
-
I will find out Monday. Fingers crossed.

Pre fit the grill and check the gap around the fender above the headlights (more in the top corners). I had a huge gap on the last 2 ive done. It will need to be filled or it will be very noticable.

Anybody else Preorder from MegaHobby? My whole order says it shipped, including the Camaro......wonder if its a fluke?
-

I love them too. It will be hard to give them up. I don't think ill ever quit using them due to the ease of just getting a can out and spraying.

The local Hobby Town USA that AustinT works at is still having their closing sale, today was the first day of 40% off......my wife told me to buy 95% of this stuff. lol Over 500.00 bucks worth of stuff for 300.00. The Thomas the trains are the ones to paint yourself and my 2yr old loves them. He picked out 12 of them. lol He also tossed in 5 random cans of spray paint i didnt know about. Ended up with 20 cans this trip. Also got the Spray booth for 117.00 out the door. Been wanting one for the last 10 years. GOT ONE NOW!! lol Untitled by jrherald420, on Flickr Untitled by jrherald420, on Flickr Untitled by jrherald420, on Flickr

Great work. Like said above its dead on.

I bought one of the jewelers saws and a miter box to cut with but you cant get an accurate cut using the miter box when the openings are almost 1/4 inch wide. Thant thing was a waste of of 5.00, its made by Revell. I am holding off work on this garage till the Chopper III shows up. I just don't want to do a bad job building this and waste wood in the process.
