    Thanks everybody! Niko, I agree. I wish I could paint well enough for it to lay down perfect and nt need any major cutting and buffing, I'd love it if I could produce a paint job that just needed a little waxing.

    I finally finished cutting and buffing the paint, I hate doing this with a passion but the results look fantastic!

    You are correct, I raced a junior dragster for 6 years, so I've seen plenty of track time. In the 1/8th it ran 8.30's, so with a taller rear sprocket, it would run low 13's in the quarter. I've had 1 perfect (.000) light and I have 5 wally's so I think I'll adjust to it pretty well!

    Thank you Al, what do you think of the new wheels? Here's everything I use to cut & polish, a polishing kit with course to fine sheets of paper and then to finish and remove small scratches I use the meguiars

    I just got some clear on it, aaandd it fell off the paint stand on to the deck. The paint was mostly dry so there was almost no damage, just some battle scars but you don't see a drag car with perfect paint so who cares!

    Thanks, I'm quite a bit happier with the new stance from the mockup, hopefully nothing changes and it stays the same. I just bought some clear so expect a paint update with shiny stuff coming up.

    Thank you Brian I think I've got the stance a lot better than the first mockup. That and the color it think really looks good I think red would look good on it too but everybody builds rd cars so it's a little different

    Thank you! I think it's like $10, I got it at my local auto parts store. I need to get some clear for it now
