  1. The power plant is figured out, the 5.0 block with a parts box intake and dominator
  2. My bad, I don't really know what was going through my mind DOH!! Post edited...
  3. Thanks Carl, it isn't too noticable but it's quite irriatating when I struggle with paint jobs, all I can do is to continue plugging along
  4. I can't think of words to describe your builds Tyrone, they're top notch Jim at micro nitro, he makes great stuff and I too would love to get few sets but they're wayy out of my 15 year old budget/price range
  5. Not much of an update but it's something, I masked the nose off and painted the cowl panel semi gloss black, but of course as my luck goes the rust oleum orange masking tape I used pulled up a bunch of the clear, I cut the paint down more and it's not fixable... Now I need to paint the window trim and hopefully I don't have any more problems with tape I also got some decals in place
  6. It looks great Ray, your speed amazes me too
  7. Nice work fixing the cage, that's a pet peeve of mine when I'm building cages, I end up redoing some parts 3 or 4 times until I'm happy with it
  8. Thanks Carl and Stan, I'll have to check next time I'm at my LHS to see if they carry the smoke tint. I have plenty of glass laying around so testing it won't be a problem
  9. I'll give it another try but I'm leaning towards the tamiya smoke as it seems to be very simple and quick
  10. I can't agree more, his radials are extremely high quality and his shipping is fast. Great guy to deal with
  11. Very nice fox, I need to get in gear and finish mine up
  12. Very clean oob build, Well done...
  13. You did an amazing job fixing the tin Chris, I agree with others who say it looks better now than before. Keep it going my friend, I'm excited to see the day when it's finally finished.
  14. The paint looks great, nice replica
  15. Very nice work on that electric water pump Niko! It closely resembles the Meziere / pro form 1:1's.
  16. Hi Al, the problem I ran into with the tint is I can't squeegee out the air causing the tint to just not stick. The tint is simply a no go on this build. I have to scratch build a four link set up for it, scratch a new crossmember, finish the interior, and get the engine together then it'll be all ready to go together.
  17. The small hat seems too small on the car, I think the big hat looks much better
  18. Looks like the start of a neat build Ray
  19. Thank you Tyrone, I understand what you mean about clear windows, the detail you do on interiors is definatey something to show off. I'll try tinting the rear one, but if it doesn't work I'll scrap the idea. I used a brand new sharpie with a nice point on the tip. I carefully followed the dulled lines making about two coats.
  20. I was playing around with some left over window tint and I did the quarter window with it, what do you think? Should I do the rear and other side? The difference is amazing from the angle the sun hits the tint
