  1. Thank you, Id like to sit it down more but I'd have to completely tub the car which if I was going to go through the trouble of back halving the car id put a much larger tire under it, I kind of want to keep the outlaw 8.5 look that it has because I think the small tire looks good.
  2. Thank you, Ron, the wheels are from the rat roaster, the slicks are race masters from the amt parts pack, and the fronts are firestones from the amt '66 nova.
  3. Just finished up the cage, it's a simple 10 point with some extra bars, might go further. Note: yes I know it doesn't have door bars, I need to figure out what I'll be doing for seats first.
  4. Fish mouthed all the bars for better fit at the joints, the cage should be finished sometime tonight or early tomorrow.
  5. That is amazing, beautiful work.
  6. Thank you, I started on the cage today,
  7. Very clean detailing
  8. Just started to play around with this, it'll be mostly box stock with some wheels, tires and a cage maybe I'll throw a small block chevy in it to make the purists mad. Comments, advice, and criticism is all welcome
  9. Thank you everybody, I got some inspiration on the little foxbody I started, I think I'll post in in the drag section soon
  10. Thank you, this was just one of those builds that nothing really goes right with. Not that the kit fitment quality helps much.
  11. Like the Chevelle, this was just a quick slump buster so not my normal detailing. It's a mediocre build, the paint looks good from 50 feet away, the stance is off, the distributor cap wiring order is off, the horribly casted demon carb isn't polished as it should be,and much more. The detail really isn't there but it looks okay on the shelf. Comments and criticism welcomed
  12. Gorgeous Chevelle!
  13. I'm a huge roadkill fan and I think you did a great job reproducing the general mayhem.
  14. I love how this thing has turned out, very, very nice!
  15. Very nice attention to detail.
  16. Absolutely beautiful work! extremely clean building.
  17. And I thought I was the only one who figured that out, dang!
  18. How is the kit itself fitment wise? It certainly looks good.
  19. Thank you Charlie, all but 4 kids in our skills team at my high school are graduating. Now, more than ever we need to recruit kids so that the nincompoop that is running my high school into the ground, doesn't cut Skills USA because he doesn't see any value in the cost of taking kids to compete. I've been doing what I can to inform my fellow classmates about what exactly Skills is, but kids these days just don't seem interested, making it extremely hard. Thank you Sean, I've heard a lot of national competitors get offerings from various tech schools. That would be a great opportunity to have right there.
