  1. Went at it a bit with an electric buffer and polishing compound for about 20 minutes and then finished up by hand for about 10 minutes. They were already in incredibly good shape besides a few scratches.
  2. And for 40 bucks they're a total steal!
  3. Picked up four of these for my LUV, ET 7 inch 6 lug slots for $40. What's cool is they take regular acorn nuts, now all I need is to buy some tires to wrap around them and throw them on. After spending a half an hour doing some polishing yielded great results
  4. this is going to be so cool! I love the wheel/tire combo, could you post a picture of what youre kinda basing it off of?
  5. My hobby shop took one look at the warped T-bird chassis and told me to find another kit for the same price to exchange it out so I grabbed the new 5.0 fox. Also picked up the Reher Morrison Camaro, an '02 Camaro for the LS to swap into a '79 drag car and a Galaxie trailer.
  6. looks killer, I never would have thought of doing that!
  7. Not that I know of, there's one in Grants Pass called the midnight prowlers but that's quite a drive.
  8. Too Cool! I'll be here following along
  9. He races regularly Friday nights, if he loses a round he'll go run nitrous passes in test and tune. The track isnt prepped very good Friday nights so it wont hold much power, the biggest hit he can give it is a 150 on the bottle to run 9.26's consistently.
  10. I don't know if you'll recognize it, but my dad races his 72 Vega mostly friday nights and has raced at the Medford cruise drags. I also used to race this from '06 to '12, you probably didn't see me out there. I've been building for about 4 years now.
  11. Holy Smoke! Medford huh? im out of eagle point! I believe I recognize your Camaro from seeing you race at Champion Raceway?
  12. Thank you Randy! Thanks Lee, I appreciate it.
  13. Thank you, I was ecstatic when I saw how they turned out. Thank s Jim! only took me two tries to get it acceptable.
  14. Thank you Chris! Gerald, thank you. I hope to build another and build it better than this.
  15. Thank you Carl! Thank you Larry! Using this thing for pictures now is going to be great!
  16. Thank you Dan! Thank you Jonathan! I appreciate it!
  17. Great job on your builds this year Rob, they look great!
  18. Thank you Ken!
  19. Beautiful work Niko! I enjoyed watching all of your builds this year, very nice work!
  20. Sure does! my old camera has officially retired! Yes I did.
  21. I'm sorry to post this same old thing again, but after santa dropped off an Iphone 5s and I figured out how to use it I decided to mess with the camera and take advantage of the sun peeking. Its extremely flawed, the pictures show how much is wrong with it but oh well its still to this day my best build which is pretty sad but I can only improve right? I know the chute mount and the license plate came unglued so don't mind that. Other than that its really nothing special, just the old inaccurate revell kit with some testors one coat lacquer and some scratch building.
  22. Nice job Niko, the little details like that really make a difference.
  23. Looks good Seth.
  24. Thank you Erik, ill see what I can do to get my hands on one.
