  1. I've only been here a very short while but I think things are best as is. I mean, things mightn't get as many views if you start making a load of different sections. I mean, I know I rarely look at NASCAR and drag racing sections, and how many would really keep tabs on an import or drift section? The way things are, if you click a thread, you don't always know what to expect. And that element of surprise makes it all more fun.
  2. Holy wow. That driver is AMAZING!
  3. Lovely build, been meaning to get myself a charger!
  4. No I'm not kidding, I'm rather OCD actually!
  5. Looks great, love the 90s rally cars.
  6. I admire the build quality, and you did a great job, but I can honestly say ill never understand the euro trend and sticker bombing.
  7. Here's how mine sits: Have my two projects, a Ducati and a Mitsubishi, on the bench. Also the recently finished Impreza (seen in my Weathering Vol. 4 thread) sits on the shelf beside my iPod for now. I could do with a tidy!
  8. Cheers David!
  9. That's HOT!
  10. Looking fantastic! I built this kit too - please be careful of a fitment issue on the rear hatch, it doesn't go on properly.
  11. Looking good, I'm one of the few on here who appreciates imports
  12. Thanks everyone, I didn't see those comments! It was sprayed over a black base coat, so it really aggravated me when this happened. Oh well, it's grown on me now!
  13. Oh that's hot. What're you planning with it?
  14. Looks good, could see myself making that into a lovely street car!
  15. Thanks guys Outdoor shots: Thanks for looking, all comments and advice appreciated!
  16. Your weathering is amazing, could sure teach us a thing or two!
  17. "I don't even know why we called the album 'Volume 4.' There wasn't even a Volume 1, or 2, or 3. It's stupid." - Tony Iommi, Black Sabbath. There hasn't been a volume anything else of weathering practice, either. So there's a bit of a back story to this one. I came out of the school building today (I do all my spraying in my dad's "woodshop" classroom. Woodshop is what you guys call it isn't it? Or something like that. Anyway.) and it was snowing outside, quite heavily too. Extremely windy as well. Getting out of the car to go into the house, the wind caught my freshly painted Polar White (and this was my VERY first time spray painting white - I've always been too afraid to do it before.) Subaru Impreza off the stand that I had it on, and knocked it straight to the ground, taking chips out of the paint. I was very, very, VERY angry. And frankly, for the life of me I could not be BOTHERED to do anything more to this rubbish basic kit. So after much anger was vented out of me via my drum kit, I decided to make the most of it and weather what I had, cover the blemishes. Inspired by the snow, I tried to do as realistic as I could snow weathering. Modifications: Removed the rear spoiler and it's mounting points Custom aluminium tubing exhaust (the McDonalds straw idea got scrapped after I finally found the right diameter tubing) Front badge changed to the older 90s logo This is, to me, the ugliest Impreza they made. I'd still have it over the current one though. I'll have some good outdoor pics (Hopefully in the snow!) tomorrow. Thanks for looking, all comments are muchly appreciated!
  18. As a Cobra man myself, I can safely say I've never heard of this thing. Looking forward to this!
