Lookin' pretty awesome!

Cheers lads! Got the body primed today. Will be going Green tomorrow. Ended up having to use the scooped hood, I guess the kit only came with one Tranny so it was too late to go stock. Cheers!

Got the road car version of this kit, love this little car, insanely quick.

Cheers Joseph, but I saw this and it took my fancy. Cheers!

Looks amazing! I'm still lookin' for the Country Sedan version of this car. I'll never find one. -
Lookin' good! Are those wheels standard?

Hey Jeff, for the interior I used: Tamiya XF-24 Dark Grey, Tamiya XF-69 NATO Black, Tamiya XF-10 Flat Brown. I didn't prime the parts, and I just used a brush and my hand, no masking. Cheers!

Looks perfect, great job.

No problem Clemi! Did a bit of interior work today. The interior is always my favourite part. Whether this is actually accurate to the car or not I don't know but hey it's how I'd like to own one. Black, grey and wood. And I finally got the grille looking how I wanted it. Cheers!

No, just touch it slightly over the parts you want to look like they have more depth. Sometimes it can help it just pour it over a little. The lid has a tiny brush on the other side for applying it

Hi Anne, "Wash" is a term used when you mix black paint with thinner, making a very very thin black paint which adjusts to all the little crevices in a part, like on a chrome piece, to give it depth. It also kind of weathers the overall look. Another way to put it is when doing panel lines on a car.. You'd make a very thin "wash" and it follows the line around without having to paint each line, because it's so thin. For all my washes, I use this stuff: Hope this helps!

So now I've finally finished the godawful '56 Nomad.. I can get to work on something that'll be fun and enjoyable. I'm gonna make this a dragster underneath, with standard appearance and full stock interior. Started work on the engine, scribed the panel lines and done a first coat of flat black on the grille. Engine got a wash, needs some touching up before it goes in though. Will the racing air filter fit with the stock bonnet? I'm scared in case it won't, I don't want to put the scoop on, Colour will be as close as I can get to this. Thanks for lookin'!

Okay so anyone that saw the WIP knows the story.. Found this kit in a shed, my da had started it, I stripped it down, parts were broken/missing.. I attempted to resurrect it. Was my first go at scratchbuilding, it's not great but it was a free practice I guess. Check out the WIP for a rough idea of how much I did. This was also my first go with BMF for trim. First time trying to make rust and I'm dead proud of how it came out. The roof is badly skewed outta place too. I wasn't gonna put this up but I decided what the hell. Thanks for following and looking!
