  1. Looks great! Used to love my tiny hot wheels of this car. Chaparrals are awesome!
  2. Have this one in the stash, looking good so far!
  3. Lookin' good, I like the Superbees so I'll be following.
  4. Looks great, surpasses mine in pretty much every way already. Looking forward to this, keep it up!
  5. Cheers you two! Did some work on the interior again, touching up. Cheers!
  6. Nah, I found it to be a nigh-on perfect height with the racing setup. My car is built as the instructions say for the racing version - only difference is the stock interior and no decals. I got mine on eBay, they seem to be from MAD models, I think. Great stuff!
  7. No thanks, I don't like these in white, not menacing enough Body primed.. Painted some parts, did base coats on the interior stuff. It'll all be touched up, obviously Cheers!
  8. As said.. I'll be watching this very muchly
  9. Cheers you two!
  10. Nope! If you look near the end of the instructions for the suspension, you'll see under the "race" setup, there's four block shaped things that go under the leaf springs, giving the room for the big back tires. Any questions you have on your build of the '68 don't hesitate to ask!
  11. Haha good stuff.. I'll be watching It's a lovely easy kit to build, you're gonna enjoy it. I always find non-Japanese kits to be hit and miss.. It's definitely a hit. Remember.. the 426 Hemi ONLY fits with the bonnet with the scoop. If you want a stock look, you're gonna have to go stock underneath too. Look forward to seeing it!
  12. So if you hadn't noticed by my name... I'm rather fond of Shelby. Though strangely, I haven't built very many.. Odd. I picked this kit up while I was on a school trip in Berlin. Here's hoping it'll go well. I know it isn't accurate but.. Inspired by the old Fords of the 60s/70s, I painted the block blue instead of black. I haven't done very much.. but I'm priming the body. Once I've done that and decided on a colour (I'm really finding it hard to decide.. I've a couple of schemes I'd love to do.. All black... Gun Metal with black stripes... I could go on) I'll have the inspiration to go on. Watch this space!
  13. Am I to assume that '68 in your pic is to be the next build judging by the trend lately? If so.. I'll be watching that one ESPECIALLY carefully
  14. This kit was going so, so well... then it suddenly went horribly, horribly wrong. Ain't got much to say on it.. Rather annoyed with it. The clearcoat messed up, so I had to weather the kit to make it look like an ex-drag racer that's been used, abused, and left to die. I'd hope to make it a pristine build, oh well. I cut apart the Plymouth decals to make them look old and destroyed. Based on the Sox & Martin kit. And before assembly finished... my nephew decided to enter the model room unattended. And played with it. Basically... those front wheels are barely on there, so they don't sit right in some of the photos. Anyway.. onto the next build. Sooner rather than later. Thanks for lookin'. The next build better go better!
  15. Haha cheers for the pics and info! Do you think it'd be an easy kit to convert to a road version? Looking forward to see how the engine section pans out too.
  16. Have always pondered this kit but heard it was previously motorised or something so it's really basic? Not sure, but I'll be watching this anyway. Should be the same great standard too
  17. Main assembly finished... Just details, weathering and decals. Next update will be Under Glass. Cheers!
  18. Looking great! Wish I had the patience to make mine as clean, keep it up.
  19. Looks good, I've built a couple of these Skylines when I was first starting out.. wouldn't mind going back and building a good one now.
  20. Thanks Steve, I've always wanted to do something with Photography and went through a bit of a phase with it, so I tend to use things I learned from that a lot in all photos I do. And thanks Dan, much appreciated! Cheers
  21. Yeah, I'd consider Kiss to be possibly the single cheesiest band I've ever heard, far from heavy metal! Big Kiss guy here too, absolutely love 'em!
  22. Cheers lads Any idea on how I can lower the suspension so I can actually keep a stance like that? I can do it on the Japanese kits but leaf springs astound me...
