  1. Wheels and brakes finished. Been painting various other parts and putting on basecoats but this is all that's worth sharing for now.
  2. I'm sure SimilR loves you right now Juan! Jonathan, that gives me an idea... As a group we could work together and build all the JGTC Skylines! Just a thought.
  3. Looks awesome, I'm certainly interested in a kit of this!
  4. Mostly Tamiya for me! They're really hard to beat.
  5. Cheers! I didn't know they had chrome on the wheel arches. I really should look at more resources before I start
  6. That paint is to die for!
  7. Indeed I did, I've always loved the JGTC race cars. Seeing your build has put me back into a Castrol kick, I'm so tempted to do another Corolla for the build but I reeeeally don't think I'm in the mood for putting up with those decals These two are looking great, can't wait to see you go for the Pescarolo.
  8. I love this, gorgeous.
  9. Cheers everyone, means a lot!
  10. Well I'll post the first WIP, since this has started. It's not much but it's something! My first time doing tire decals too. Took a few attempts, thankfully I had spares.
  11. Thanks Jason, I wasn't aware of that! I'm not really familiar with Dodge history. I know a little bit but I've always been a Plymouth guy. @Lee - Yeah, I was aware of those, but I decided to leave it one solid colour with no flat black or stripe to different from everyone elses. Was seriously considering the flat black tail though, but I do like it as it is! @Dominik - Thanks for the heads up, I never even noticed them! Shows how attentive I am I'll get on that! Thanks for the kind words everyone, it's much appreciated
  12. My first build for this arrived. This'll be fun.
  13. Very clean build, love that colour. Looks like it belongs on a T-Bird!
  14. Pretty insane in the membrane, gotta say. Will be watching this ambitious and crazy project!
  15. And with my personal favourite, the Plymouth Superbird. This one's really worse for wear by this point, really need to build another one. Thanks for looking, all comments are much appreciated!
  16. The second of my "aero warriors". I've always adored these cars. This is the '69 Daytona, painted in Vauxhall Sapphire Blue over a Calsonic blue base coat. Completely box stock, no mods. Sticker on the light was taken from the '68 Hemified Charger, I think. More in part 2!
  17. That is one clean build! I LOVE that colour!
  18. Cool model, it sucks this kit is so inaccurate, you've made a fine job!
  19. That's gorgeous, the bright white really sets it off. Chargers sure are popular lately!
  20. Cheers everyone! Just decals and touching up to go. Under Glass tomorrow hopefully!
  21. Fresh outta the Golf, I've been working on this. Body painted and lacquered. Not much left on it for now! I love both the Charger and Superbird but the Plymouth will always be my favourite. Cheers!
  22. Looks good, masking and painting if you don't have a steady hand would really set it off
  23. Built mostly box stock. Steering wheel taken from a Tamiya Mazda MX-5. Wheels from a Fujimi Mercedes 190E. Colour: Tamiya Mica Red. Based on pretty much exactly how I want mine to look in a year or so's time. I cut open the sunroof, first one I've seen it done on. Tried to give it a little wear and tear around the rear bumper, so it's sitting slightly askew with rough paint where it used to be. There's an annoying fitment issue on the hood. It's not my best but I'm pleased with it. Thanks for looking, all comments appreciated!
  24. Oscar - No to both. I had thought long and hard about it, but decided I liked it better as it was. I know that isn't accurate, though. Jim - That's the fitment issue I was telling you about! Going under glass now
  25. Finished! Better pics tomorrow. Thanks for watching!
