  1. Congrats Ford, I'm not a diehard ford fan or anything but my family's always owned em and they've been great cars. Keep it up lads!
  2. This is totally blowing my mind.
  3. Really like that grille! great stuff.
  4. ERMAGERD THIS KIT IS SO INACCURATE IT LOOKS SO HORRIBLE ...see how bloody little it effects a good, clean build? This looks great, nice to see it in police colours too. Great job (That bit at the top was sarcasm in case you didn't catch that.)
  5. Greg, the building isn't a building but a lorry body. We have a couple lying round as sheds, they're great for storage and so cheap too!
  6. A lot more modern than you guys, but this takes me back because it was the first kit I ever finished, which was a big achievement since I used to be quite a quitter.
  7. Craftsmanship in this is amazing, great work
  8. Thanks a lot everyone! Thanks Daytonalover, but I just couldn't justify buying a whole kit just for that, the money simply isn't here. :/ @Austin - Haha, I wish! The day someone makes a 1/24 or 1/25 kit of him though... Since people wanted to see more.. Here's a very small update just for tonight. I'll have more done tomorrow. Did some engine work. Just a bit. Gave it all a wash. Also washed the wheels, they look great. Took the headrests off the seats because as you can see in the video, there aren't any. Some putty and sanding needed here.. Thanks for looking! Edit - Also, a question. For the blower... I've no real idea of how the mechanicals of a car works, so bare with me. Does a blower go in place of your air filter thingy? or is it just attached to the bonnet or..? I don't think on the real Stylo camaro the blower was functional so depending on the work it'd take to put one on this I might make this one a "fake" too. Cheers!
  9. So, I'm building this Camaro from the music video for Gorillaz' "Stylo". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nhPaWIeULKk I've wanted to do this for ages, and thought it was an original idea but it turns out someone has already made one (there's a thread about that I made...) but eventually I bit the bullet and I ordered this kit and it arrived today, so I quickly put some basecoats on some parts. The body will be put aside for now, I'll get all the assembly and interior built, then I'll worry about it and the modifications to it last. Stay tuned.
  10. Awesome, haven't seen these built yet.
  11. This is waaaaaaay too cool! Love it.
  12. That is an awesome idea!
  13. Perfection.
  14. So as you may remember, a while back I built a model of my pride and joy.. And put it on the dashboard for display. These past couple days we've had SCORCHING heat. And, well... to make a long story short... Heat is bad. Moral of the story... Careful how you store your models, guys!
  15. ...There's a good reason nobody has thought of that..
  16. Thanks muchly!
  17. Poifect!
  18. I always think '68 as it's my favourite, then I think '69. Don't usually think about the rest.
  19. Yeah, this colour looks totally different on anything but grey primer, so it's worth a shot! Glad I could help Cheers James!
  20. Cheers for the feedback, glad I'm not alone on this one!
  21. I planned on doing a thread like this but never got around to it! Here's two I'm rather fond of
  22. Lara, an '89 VW Golf Mk.2 GTI, my first car
  23. Amazing job Jon!
  24. Have you ever thought to yourself, "that's a great idea, I bet nobody's done that before!" Only to find out, uh-oh, you're not as creative as you thought? Case in point - Im a rather fond fan of "Gorillaz" and they've a music video "Stylo" and it has a black Camaro, and it's got bullet holes and a broken light and a blower and a custom badge. And I thought today, man I'd love to build that, I could be the first to! So while looking at source pics on the Internet, what did I see... Someone's already built one in 1/25, and it looks perfect. (Still wont stop me doing one, mind.) Anyone had anything similar happen?
  25. Still great work here as always! Keep it up lads.
