  1. Looks great! Needa add this one to the stash, plan on building the main 90s rally cars of my childhood - when rallying was still good!
  2. Love the plate
  3. Cheers guys! Unfortunately the lacquer went bad - the bloody car fell off the mount after spraying, so there's some marks on the side. But, I'm gonna weather the car to make it look like it's been driven in hard rain, kinda like the race cars you see after a wet race. Won't be too much, but juuuust enough to cover the blemishes. Cheers!
  4. Your builds are so clean, great work.
  5. As a huge Cobra man myself.. Extremely jealous.
  6. Looks great, seems to be the more unloved Subaru of the model world!
  7. Looks great, love it!
  8. I love my Plymouths... This kit started out as the Sox & Martin dragster kit. Turned it into a road car, similar idea as my Charger. I painted it yesterday, it's gonna be sanded today then lacquered tomorrow. This is a mockup at the minute: Cheers!
  9. Thanks everyone, you've no idea how much it means!
  10. Love it, that's exactly how I'd build one! Colour looks great too.
  11. The whole drift scene ain't my cup of tea but you've done a great job on this kit. Well done!
  12. Cheers lads, it's very muchly appreciated
  13. Lookin' great! I did a custom livery on mine, nothing wrong with that! Also be wary of that PS Tamiya paint.. it's for Lexan R/C bodies.
  14. Thanks again everyone, I'm seriously amazed at the response! @Steve, my God, that engine sound is heavenly. Thanks for sharing!
  15. Thanks everyone, the responses are rather overwhelming Ah, that solves that then! I was worried I got a dodgy kit or something! I didn't know that.. I love my old muscle cars but I'm not the knowledgeable in the old Drag Racing scene. Thanks for that tidbit! I'll be trying the solder technique next time, cheers. Cheers!
  16. Cheers Geoff! Just noticed you hail from Solihull.. I'm a huge Landy fan!
  17. Cheers everyone! @CJ - Cheers for the heads up! The reason for the exhaust thing is that, from what I could see, this kit seemed to instruct me to not put an exhaust on with the 426.. There was only an exhaust for the 440, so I kinda did a butcher job of it but I didn't want to have no exhaust at all! I had the interior underside pointed out to me.. Bloody rookie mistake on my part there! I'll fix that air filter now too, thanks for the advice, it was kinda annoying me! As for the grille.. I made the choice between all flat black or this.. To be honest, I preferred this, but to each his own! Thanks for the post, the help is much appreciated!
  18. Thanks everyone, really appreciate it!
  19. More! (The hood only sits on the car, that's why it's kinda outta place here!) Cheers!
  20. First off, can I just say.. I'm more proud of this than any of my other models, by FAR. I really think it's my best work. So.. the write up. Out of all the Chargers, the '68 is my favourite - the grille anyway. For this I went for a dark metallic Green ("Ford Forest Green Metallic") and I wanted the car to look as stock as possible but be a dragster underneath, the ultimate street sleeper. This is the Revell kit, and a lovely one at that. No issues whatsoever, it was a dream to work with. Additions to the kit - Wiring for the distributor and battery (My first time!) custom exhausts from aluminium tubing. Anyway.. I think the pics do the talking. All comments and criticisms are much appreciated! Cheers!
  21. Thanks it'll be Under Glass tomorrow!
  22. Looks like a very understated street sleeper.. Great job
  23. Thanks everyone, means a lot! I was going to do that with the wheels, but to be honest after giving them a black wash I was happy with the results as they were. Thanks for the suggestion though, I'll keep that in mind for the next build! It ended up the one I got from eBay was a M.A.D. one, it's perfect!
