Got a little bench time in this evening to attach the rest of the scratch built brace plates to the bracing arms so now I will let the glue cure for a day or two then I will start cleaning up the bracing then I will need to decide on what color to spray on it which I'm thinking stainless steel.

John the engine detail is amazing ! especially the visual of the coolant.

Looking good ! Yes the challenges are very rewarding as you conquer them one at a time.

Was able to get in a little bench time in this evening so I was able to get the eight brace plates scratch built and then started securing them to the brace arms.

Good start with this one but it sounds like it is throwing you a bunch of challenges.

Nice scratch building Art ! Art what kind of lath are you working with? Been looking into possibly purchasing one in the future.

Was able to get a little more done last night on the scratch built bracing which is I have added bracing in the corners of the bracing frame and on the center braces. Next will to be scratch build the plates where the bracing will attach to the body. By the way Happy Easter to everyone !

Art had no idea you had another build going and I'm sure this will be killer when your finished with her.

This is just a small update which is that I have added a couple more braces that are for the under side of the body and a few of the aftermarket products that will be incorporated into this build from Pro Tech & Futurattraction.

I have a little update on the build. I started scratch building the body bracing which will be very tedious and delicate work on my part but it will be rewarding as long as I take my time building the bracing and I also have decided on the wheel and tire combo.

Thank you David ! This build will have it's challenges but I'm up for them as long as I take my time and think this build through one step at a time.

Started a new build of the Mongoose's 1957 Chevy Funny Car which this will be my first atempt at building a Funny Car and I had started this build while I was finishing up the 67 Shelby. I already opened up the roof hatch and hinged it and I have already built two mag style distributors which on the kit they are molded with the right side valve cover. I also started scratch building the under body support system that most kits do not come with and I have also added small fender flares to the front wheel wells that are on the actual car so thats all for now.

I have finally finished the Shelby which she had fought me quit a bit do to the many modifications that I had implemented in the build so here she is ! and she made her debut at the NNL West in Santa Clara last weekend now its on to the next build.

Hello Everyone ! Well I just finished her up this evening just in time for the road trip to Santa Clara tomorrow for the NNL West show Saturday so here are a few pictures and I also would like to thank you all for following this build which I'm pretty much happy with but as always there is room for improvement.
