  1. Hello Everyone ! I have now finished scratch building the new intake system to the super charger but I still have to add a few details to it & I have also finished scratch building the cool air intake but the air filter still needs to be detailed and I also have scratch built a new shock tower support to accommodate the super charged 5.0 which I ended building the cool air intake and shock tower support twice since they just did not look correct to scale at the first attempt. Thanks For Looking !
  2. Thank you Kevin ! Will try & get some updated pictures up this weekend since I have been scratch building a lot of the parts on this build. Where in St Louis are you ? Im a native to the Show Me State & will be visiting in July to see family & catch a Cardinal game.
  3. Different and very Cool !
  4. Small update on the Shelby, I have finished scratch building the throttle body, cool air intake tube & the intake that mounts up to the super charger & I have also scratch built the shock tower supports also and all the parts have been painted. I hope to post up pictures as soon as I get them taken since I have been a little what distracted on doing some body work on two other builds which one of them is the 51 pontiac station wagon. Thanks for following the progress !
  5. Hello Everyone, i have been very busy with work & other things that come up in life which all have been good things so now I'm getting back to this build. I have now started on the mock up of the engine install so I can get all the components built for the engine & get them in place before painting them & detailing them. Then I will know exactly where every component will be permanently installed. I will have pictures up as I go but as you all know this process is slow at times for me since my building time is limited at times so bear with me. Thank you all that have been following this build !
  6. Smith Brothers Hobby in the San Fernando Valley they have good selection of plastic kits.
  7. Very nicely executed build !
  8. Working on getting the chassie done then its back on the Shelby to get her done.
  9. It would be awesome if one of the major model companies would do a series of cars buy some of the car builders like Troy Trapanier or Rick Dore, Steve Strope etc.
  10. You mean Best Model Car Parts and Michael also has the gauge sets & license plates and yes they are nice pieces.
  11. Yes it is a 1952 Pontiac Chieftain Station wagon ! and as you can tell I will be tubbing the chassie and not sure on the rest yet though. Thanks For Looking !
  12. Hello everyone ! This will be my next build that I will be starting in the near future after I get the Shelby Mustang finished which I hope to do soon. So in the mean time I got this resin kit at the NNL in Chatsworth May 3rd and I thought it would be a neat project to tackle since I have never worked with a resin kit before & this will take a lot of scratch building and kit bashing so this will be a long project to tackle. Can anyone guess what it is ? One hint is that it is a 1952 body
  13. This will be another cool build of yours to watch Art !
  14. Awesome builds !
  15. Looking good !
  16. Wow ! Painted body looks good ! Just sprayed it with a couple of coats of clear lacquer and no issues so far. I think I have found my color for a resin kit I purchased a couple of weeks ago that will be tubed.
  17. Theo & Kevin, Thank you for the info ! I painted a spare body last night in gloss black & will spray the Color Shift paint today sometime to see how it comes out then spray a few coats of clear to see how it looks.
  18. Has anyone tried the Rust-Oleum Color Shift Paint on a build ? and does anyone know if it is enamel or lacquer based ? I looked on the can and there is no indication if the paint is enamel or lacquer based. I'm in the process doing the spoon test to see how it turns out. Thank You
  19. I feel your pain I ended up repainting my Coronet Super Bee three times.
  20. Good turn out the show today & met a few more builders today that live in my neck of the woods and was invited to there monthly meeting. Also picked up a very nicely done resin 1952 Pontiac Station Wagon which my wheels are already spinning on how I want to build it.
  21. Yes Great Pictures ! Wish I could have made it this year.
