  1. Yes it is a 1952 Pontiac Chieftain Station wagon ! and as you can tell I will be tubbing the chassie and not sure on the rest yet though. Thanks For Looking !
  2. Hello everyone ! This will be my next build that I will be starting in the near future after I get the Shelby Mustang finished which I hope to do soon. So in the mean time I got this resin kit at the NNL in Chatsworth May 3rd and I thought it would be a neat project to tackle since I have never worked with a resin kit before & this will take a lot of scratch building and kit bashing so this will be a long project to tackle. Can anyone guess what it is ? One hint is that it is a 1952 body
  3. This will be another cool build of yours to watch Art !
  4. Awesome builds !

  6. Wow ! Painted body looks good ! Just sprayed it with a couple of coats of clear lacquer and no issues so far. I think I have found my color for a resin kit I purchased a couple of weeks ago that will be tubed.
  7. Theo & Kevin, Thank you for the info ! I painted a spare body last night in gloss black & will spray the Color Shift paint today sometime to see how it comes out then spray a few coats of clear to see how it looks.
  8. Has anyone tried the Rust-Oleum Color Shift Paint on a build ? and does anyone know if it is enamel or lacquer based ? I looked on the can and there is no indication if the paint is enamel or lacquer based. I'm in the process doing the spoon test to see how it turns out. Thank You
  9. I feel your pain I ended up repainting my Coronet Super Bee three times.
  10. Good turn out the show today & met a few more builders today that live in my neck of the woods and was invited to there monthly meeting. Also picked up a very nicely done resin 1952 Pontiac Station Wagon which my wheels are already spinning on how I want to build it.

  16. Sounds like this is another good show that I would like to attend so hopefully next year I can arrange my schedule to possible make it. I know the GSL is right around the corner also which this is on the top of my bucket list but I would like to get a few more builds under my belt before I make plans to attend the show.
  17. Small Update Everyone, I have added the stripes which I decided on the silver instead of the white and I have laid down the first couple of coats of clear on them unfortunately your unable to see the first coat of clear which was the pearl clear. I will lay the paint on the body when I'm satisfied on how the engine will be placed in engine bay & the other components that will also be in the engine bay do to mocking it up with the body on the chassie . Thanks For Looking !
  18. Was able to shoot the clear on the hood at lunch today so hopefully tomorrow I ill be able to get some pictures of the hood & trunk and post them up. Thanks For Looking
  19.
