  1. Awesome job on the dash Art !
  2. Sorry to hear, Condolences & prayers to his family.
  3. She's looking awesome Art !
  4. It looks like I will add a little black wash to the air filter to give it a little more realism and depth. I'm also doing a little research on the engine to see what I other sensors & electric components that are visible on the engine. I will do my best to replicate most of them which means I will be scratch building them and then installing them in the correct places without going out of my comfort zone. Thank You All For The Encouraging Comments !
  5. I just finished adding the throttle by wire control to the scratch built intake , finished detailing the K&N air filter , finished the rear junction for the rear brake line & is attached to rear axle and now working on scratch building the front brake line junctions.
  6. Awesome job on the fabricated parts & the build in general ! Looks Awesome !
  7. Thank you all for the encouraging comments ! Small update which is that I have started scratch building the brake line junction for the the rear hard line and for the the front where the hard line will split to the front calipers and I'm also adding some engine detail.
  8. Has anyone purchased a VCG Resin 572 and assembled it ? If so I would like to know what position the heads are assembled to the block ? Do you center them to the block or make them flush to the front of the block or the rear ? Reason I ask is that the heads are longer then what the block is which they should be the same length. Thank You
  9. John your builds are always amazing !
  10. Awesome ! Nice clean & well done build !
  11. She's looking good Art !
  12. Hello Everyone, Small update which is that I have finished the exhaust system & I also had to modify the steering linkages and the swaybar that ran underneath the oil pan so the engine would sit in place. I still need to clan up the areas where I have modified the linkages & sway bar which I will do when the glue has cured. Thanks For Looking !
  13. Well Everyone, I have finished the scratch built exhaust system which still needs to be cleaned up so now I'm debating on if I should scratch build some exhaust tips which I'm leaning towards doing but I need to research my idea on how I want them to look and to look realistically functional. Thanks For Checking In !
  14. Another Killer Build John ! Can't wait to se this finished !
  15. Daniel the paint is Dupli Color Metalcast which I purchased at O'Reilly's Auto Parts it comes in blue , red and I think purple. The best way to use it is to make sure the part your painting is painted silver first or if it is chrome just spray the Dupli Color over it and I also cleared it after I applied the decal.
  16. Thank you John ! I really appreciate the compliment John ! By the way the Stage Coach is just insanely Bad !
  17. Hello Everyone, I have been busy with life in general so I have not had much bench time on the Shelby build so here is a small update on her. I have the exhaust mocked up & the cross over pipe glued in place and when the glued has cured I will remove the tape & start routing the exhaust pipes and then glue in the mufflers. This is the third time at scratch building the exhaust system so I think I'm finally happy with how its turning out plus I have finished the new shock tower brace which this is also the third one that I have scratch built and I have also scratch built a throttle body to attach to the super charger but I still have a few details I want to add to it before finally assembly of the engine. I hoping to get this build finished in time to show in Pomona Nov 8 which our club The Model Car Guys have put together at the NHRA Museum.
  18. Looking awesome Art !
