  1. Don't have any pictures but what about the Matchbox City & Farm which I had back I think was about 1969 or 70 .
  2. 1969 GTO Judge 1969 Royal Bobcat 1970 Chevelle SS
  3. Pat , What are those ? Straight pins ?
  4. Progress has been slow since all I have been working on is mocking up the position of the engine and trying to get it to sit level in the frame rails. So I have redone the four mounting points and modified them by scratch building two small brackets for the front mounting points and two for the rear. I have also been working on the body of the Tom Daniels Bad Man Gasser and man the body needs a lot of work on it to get looking half way decent. Will get some pictures as soon as I have a chance. Keep On Building !
  5. Stunning Build !
  6. Chris the date for the show at the NHRA Museum is Sunday November 6 Build is coming along nicely and the little details are just awesome !
  7. We paid tribute to all of our fallen servicemen and there family's this weekend at all of our church services. Thank you all that has served this great country and has given there life for this great country.
  8. Chris nice updates on the details that you have been adding to this build which I have been watching so that I might try on my Mongoose Funny Car build.
  9. Awesome Build Looks Great !
  10. Amazing Craftsmanship !
  11. Chris bottle is amazing as is the whole build ! Just to give you a heads up or club is on again this year for our second show at the NHRA Museum in Pomona and it would be sweet if your able to attend the show with this master piece.
  12. Well I have pretty much finished scratch building the exhaust except for shortening the bottoms of the outlets so they are all even then i will get the bottom outlets glued in place then shoot some paint on them. I guess I'm satisfied with how they came but I always think to myself that i could have done a better job building them but I will leave them they way they are for now and move on to the next part of the build. To answer your question about the wheels Darrell I purchased the wheels probably about ten years ago from my local Hobby Shop and they where made by So Real which I think Pegasus maybe producing them now.
  13. Thank you Art & Chris ! Progress has been slow on this build but hopefully I'll have the exhaust finished in a few days with some updated photos.
  14. The picture would be greatly appreciated !
  15. Was able to get in a little bench time in today and also started another project to hopefully get both these builds done for the Show at the NHRA Museum that our Club will be sponsoring in Nov which is the Need For Sped 2.Was able to get the exhaust headers finished today with the exception of not getting them shot with some primer and I started the body work on the Tom Daniels 55 Chevy Gasser Badman and It will be built pretty much stock except for the body color and interior color.
  16. I have scratch built another set of front brake calipers since I was not satisfied with the first set that I scratch built and the second set are finished with paint and I also started scratch building the exhaust headers since the kit ones seemed to me that they where a little off in scale.
  17. Sorry no pictures but I must say this event gets better and better every year that I attend and its especially nice only having to drive a little over a mile to the event. I met a few more modelers this year which I hope its ok to call new friends and also was able to pick Johns (Teresi) brain on the Funny Car I'm attempting to build and also it's always good to see Art (Laski) to stock up on Pro Tech parts.
  18. Art a well deserved award at the So Cal NNL today ! The Edsel is amazing !
  19. Great Big Bummer ! I feel your pain Tim I've had something similar happen to one of my builds also but not as severe.
  20. Was able to get in a little bench time in this weekend so I scratch built two new rear upper and lower frame brackets that attach to the rear differential and I also finished scratch building the front brake calipers but I still need to clean them up a bit then drill the holes in them for the brake lines and then shoot some primer on them then some color. Next will be to scratch build the brake caliper brackets that will attach to the front spindles so thats all for now. Sorry that the pictures are not that great and that they are not showing much detail on the calipers since I did add some detail of the pistons on the outside of them which you would able to see that they are 4 piston calipers.
  21. You just gotta dig the craftsmanship ! Awesome detail Art !
