  1. Was a great turn out today & hopefully this will turn out to be a yearly show.
  2. Looks Awesome ! I also have his kit that is in line for me to eventually build.
  3. Its been a good day today on the bench I started to form the brake calipers for the rear rotors & I finally have the exhaust finished for the Super Bee that I finished awhile back so its complete now for the show Oct 11. The brake calipers will take a bit of work but I'm really enjoying the time scratch building them. I will get some progress pictures of them up as I work on them and here is a picture of the Bee.
  4. Here is a little update on the Shelby build. Finally have the rear frame and the supports for the 4 link installed to the chassie and painted & with the rear differential & 4 link, next will be mocking up for the brake lines & scratch building the fittings. I also started on the rear disc setup which I'm using Detail Master drilled rotors & will also use a set on the front brake setup. I could not find any brake calipers to use with the brake rotors so I have decided to scratch build the calipers for the front & rear which you can see the start of the build of the calipers in the pictures and I finally have the body in primer but still undecided on the color. Well thats all for now on the Shelby Build so until next time keep on Building !! and thank you for looking !
  5. This build is really coming together !

  8. I'll be watching this build !
  9. Awesome Build ! I have the Veneno to build but its on a long list with a few other builds.
  10. Looking Good Carl !
  11. I picked up the Tom Mcewen 57 Chevy Funny car a week ago and was wondering if anyone here has built this kit ? I know it is a reissue and it is on my list to get built sooner or later. Thank You
  12. Well I finally have the body in primer and nice and smooth ! I have shot the first coat of primer on the trunk lid and hood and they both will need some work to get them smooth and lined up with the body then I will install the hinge to the trunk which will be my first attempt at installing a hinge so until next time Keep On Building !
  13. Not much of an update since I have been having a little trouble getting the body smooth especially on the left upper front fender where the filler kept cracking but I think I have it licked now. I have filled all the front & rear gaps where the front & rear clips are glued to the body & i know on the front clip there should be a seam there but it just looks better to me with it smooth & no seam line. Will get some pictures up soon !
  14. Looks Awesome ! Yes if you ever do more of the Snow Flake Wheels in 20" hit me up !
  15. Well my plan is that tomorrow our MC is riding to Ventura Harbor & possibly hit the Ventura Nationals Car & Bike Show. Then Sunday & Monday just relax with the wife & family grill some steaks hit the pool & catch a Movie.
  16. Build what you like & it will look awesome !
  17. Thanks for sharing !
  18. A little update on the Shelby which is that I have added some styrene to the front valance for the scratch built spoiler and also have applied some filler to start shaping it. Next will be another light coat of primer to see if there are any areas that need to be addressed before shooting the whole car in primer.
  19. Nice Build ! Me & the wife where able to take the tour of the Big Mo while we where in Hawaii in July and I must say the ship is amazing & we also visited the Arizona Memorial also which was very educating. There where also some other ships in port which was unusual & the tour guide was saying that they where having some kind of maneuvers & one of the ships that was there was the USS Regan Aircraft Carrier.
  20. This is another one that is on my build list . Looks awesome !
