Thank you all for the great comments ! I really appreciate them. Here are few pictures of the engine bay which I still need to add the carb linkage to the carbs.
She is basically done except for adding the rest of the exhaust from the headers on back & getting the linkage onto the carbs.
I'd to thank everyone here on this board for the encouragement on this build & all the great feed back while I was building this sometimes stubborn Mopar which was painted three times ! I'd also like to thank Art and John also for there generosity on letting me pick there brain some on Sunday at the NNL Show and to congratulate them on there Wins ! and Carl Slusher also for following me on this build.
Finished the Bee at 12:10 am !
Well almost finished, I still wanted to add on to the exhaust & add the linkage to the carbs but just ran out of time so I will probably do the add ons at a later date.
Now I'm ready for the NNL in Chatsworth !
Had a little set back this morning before getting to work on the Bee I discovered that a water line to my sprinkler system had broke but is repaired now after digging up a 3 x2 hole to get to the broken pipe and repair it. But now I'm back on the Bee & doing my favorite thing BMF the trim !
Was able to get the brake line from rear ran to the front & the two brake lines ran on the front ran & one to the brake master but still have one brake line left to run to brake master then the brake lines will be finished. Only took three hours to run the three lines & two brake line connectors. Not really happy they way the look but they will have to do.
Pictures coming soon.
Slow progress but was able to get the rear wheels installed & the firewall . I was test fitting the inner front fender walls & the right inner did not fit quit right so I had to shave it down some . Now it mates to the firewall a lot better now but there is a little gap now but I can live with it. Seems like the closer I get to wrapping this up little issues come up but I will push on to get this done by Saturday. I want to thank you all for the encouragement on this build which had its issues but the good thing is that I have learned a lot from this build and will be able to carry what I have learned on to my future builds.
Some progress this evening on the front brake hoses which I have gotten installed and the rear brake hose installed also. I know the front brake junctions are probably not in the correct place but it looks good to me. Tomorrow night my goal will to run the front brake hard lines & install the rear also.
