  1. Prayers out to you & family John.
  2. Lamborghini Aventador , Camaro SS built in 2013. Corvette LS9 ZR1 just finished. Cars have some small flaws but I think I will show them at the NNL this weekend which will be my first time showing my built cars. They are not quit up to par to most of the builds I drooled over at last years NNL in Santa Clara so I'm a little apprehensive on showing these builds.
  3. Thank you for the encouragement Bryan ! Kinda nervous on bringing a couple of builds to NNL West since it will be the first time displaying my builds at a show.
  4. Camaro is looking Awesome ! Nice Work !
  5. Well the build has stalled a bit do to work & figuring out what to try and finish so i can have the Bee or the Vette ready for the NNL West which will be my first time showing my builds.
  6. I will driving up to Santa Clara Ca next Friday which will be about a six hour drive for me and this will be my second time attending the NNL West show and my first time entering two of my builds and wondering what would be the best way to transport the built cars without any damage to them. I have a few ideas but any input would be appreciated. Thank You
  7. Will try & make it but It just depends on the wife's work schedule. Attended last year which was my first time and it was awesome.
  8. NNL West in Santa Clara California Saturday Feb 1 2014 Santa Clara Convention Center
  9. A nice and clean build !
  10. Looking Good !
  11. Well the wife is finally recovering from her nasty sinus infection/flu so hopefully tomorrow I will get back on finishing the Bee ! One good thing today though I was able to get the Soft Tail out and ride to church this evening.
  12. It's looking good Ron !
  13. Thank you guys for the tips ! The carbon fiber decal sheet that I purchased is from Scale Motorsports and does appear to be dead on to what real carbon fiber looks like.
  14. Carl thank you for the kind comments for the wife. (still sick) was going to strip the paint but decided to leave it.
  15. I have recently purchased a decal sheet of carbon fiber from Scale Motorsports & it looks awesome I must say so my question is what is the best way to lay the decal down? I have laid decals down before with decal set etc so is there anything I should do different? Purchased the carbon fiber for the roof of a 2010 LS9 Z06 Corvette Roof and I just want to make sure it conforms completely to the roof & windshield pillars. Also what would be the easiest way to make a template of the roof & front windshield pillars for the decal. Thank You
  16. No progress this evening the wife is sick so maybe tomorrow evening if she is feeling better but I did get something cool in the mail which is scale motorsports decal sheet of carbon fiber.
  17. Wow extreme weather for you guys and I feel for you.
  18. Today I was able to shoot a few more coats of clear and noticed that the strip on back is not straight. There's nothing much that I can do since it is cleared already and I don't have the time to strip the paint again. Hopefully later today I can start assembling the front and rear axle & front wheels and run the brake lines.
  19. I think the paint is called Snow Flake
  20. Thank you for the tip on the bmf Carl. On the Vette I'm waiting for a decal sheet of carbon fiber for the roof and then I will clear the whole car but for now all my building time will be on the Bee. I'm trying to get it completed to take to the NNL Show in Santa Clara in Feb.
  21. Will be there its 5 minutes from home.
  22. Little more progress today which is I also have finished scratch building the fuel cell and it is in primer now.
  23. Was able to get the decals on the Bee today & shoot the clear on her and also shoot the Vette with some red also. I was happy that it was about 80 degrees today to get the clear on and the red on.
