  1. Corporate Ford just sent us a cherry 68 fastback Mustang to do a project for them & I think it may involve a Coyote motor.
  2. Since moving to So Ca 20 years ago I found one LHS in the Valley that does carry a lot of kits and new release kits & they have special ordered kits for me also. They also have a good supply of paints , glues and scratch building materials and tools. They have always been very helpful with any questions about model kits etc but one thing that they do not carry much of or if any are the aftermarket parts like Detail master etc. But all and all this shop stays busy and they also carry a lot of RC cars and Airplanes and Trains which they are always busy with. Me personally I like the LHS since I like to see what I'm buying even if it is a few dollars more but I still do buy from Wal mart once in awhile when I do see a kit I like or need it to rob parts from for a build.
  3. Something our company built for SEMA this year.
  4. Got the rear diff and axle painted and the holes drilled for the coil over shocks . I also started to scratch build the t fitting for the brake line & started the mock up of running the brake lines on the under carriage and also on the rear axle housing. This is my first time attempting to do the brake lines & a rear disc conversion so this will probably take some time to do.
  5. Yes going to Resto Mod it but its two builds away. Sometimes I get ahead of myself which I'm still working on the Bee & also started on the clean up of the LS9 Z06 Corvette body which I have filled in the body lines and removed the mold lines also. Don't much care for the body lines on the Vette and when I built the 2010 SS Camaro I also filled in the body lines which I think takes away the body lines and by filling the body lines makes the body look a lot more sleeker.
  6. Figured out how to assemble the rear axle to the rear wheels tonight & also got the rear axle painted but forgot to drill the holes for the rear coil shocks before painting but it should be a easy fix I hope without messing up the paint.
  7. Picked up the Revell 2010 Shelby Mustang today with 50% off coupon from Michael's & have been looking for this kit for few weeks so what do you think will happen to these two kits? This will be a project I will tackle after the Bee is finished & the LS 9 Vette .
  8. Was able to get the BMF on the Bee today but was not able to get it trimmed though & was able to get the rear brake rotors painted & will clean up the rotors after the calipers are painted.
  9. A little more progress this evening on the Bee. Started fitting brake calipers & rotor assembly's to rear axle housing & drilled holes in brake calipers for the brake lines.
  10. I have made se progress today on the Bee. I have finished the paint on the grill and added covers on the headlamps to simulate led lights. Hopefully I will get a few more things finished today on this build.
  11. Thank you for the inspiring comments.
  12. Slow progress on the Bee since it's been pretty chilly here in the garage but was able to get the headers finished today and another mock up picture also. Still need to finish the bmf on the trim & then start clearing the body. I still have a lot of building to do on this build for example the brake system will have disc on all four corners etc.
  13. Looking Good !
  14. Awesome Build !
  15. Thank you Arno !
  16. Slow progress on the Bee so here is a mock up for now and I have finished the new hood scoop & I think I will be painting the hood matt black. So as soon as I get some bench time I will lay on the decals. I also still have to finish the foil on the trim and then lay on a few coats of clear as long as the weather cooperates.
  17. Originally from Missouri & I must admit I do miss the snow for the holidays, it just seem the same especially at Christmas when it is 60 to 70 degrees in Ca.
  18. One of our family dogs.
  19. Very Cool !!!
  20. Started on another scratch built hood scoop since I've decided to paint the hood Matt Black and a mock up of the interior. Not sure what steering wheel I will install yet.
  21. More progress but still having issues with uploading pictures. Decided to redo the hood scoop & I think i will paint it black. Have the center console finished but undecided on shifter.
  22. Interior will be black.
  23. So what color Super Bee Strips ? White or the Black ?
  24. Here is the body painted ! Looks better in person. Forgot to mention that the picture was uploaded straight from my smart phone & still will not load from laptop. The specks are actually the pearl clear & Im debating what color strips to use black or the white so any sugestions?
  25. Have some pictures of painted body but they will not upload , says the files are to big but they are not.
