  1. The paint work is just awesome as is the rest of the build !
  2. Sorry to here that another LHS is closing its doors. Rob where is CRM Hobbies in St. Louis ? I try to travel back to St.Louis at least once a year to see family and friends.
  3. I had not built anything in about 15 years then I had finally able to purchased my second house with a 3 car garage which gave me the space to start building again. I'm not a fast builder but did complete 2 builds last year and 1 this year so far. So I made the trek to Santa Clara (NNL West ) again with the three builds to show and I was a little apprehensive on showing them since I have never shown any of my built models before and all three builds where basically box stock with just a few mods and a few scratch built parts. To my surprise the Lamborghini Aventador that I was showing was selected to be photographed ! plus I had a great time meeting a lot of new people who like to build and talk about model car building. So just build to your liking and just have fun with it !
  4. John your just Awesome ! and so is the Garlits Swamp Rat 33 !!
  5. Looks Great !
  6. I also would like the link to your ebay listings. Thank You
  7. Not complaining just curious about the reissues that are not up to par and are a little bit more in price.
  8. Has anyone noticed that some of the reissues of the AMT kits that the mold lines are pretty bad & it takes quit a bit of work on the body's to get them right plus some of the trim is not molded that well also and has to be reworked. So is it because they are being cast in China or the molds are in that bad a shape or the molds are just not up to par.
  9. Simply Amazing !
  10. While I was fitting the body to the chassie the other night I dropped the car and unfortunately some of the paint on the right rear lower quarter panel had chipped off & the only way to fix this issue will to be to strip the paint & repaint the whole car which means I may change the color.
  11. Need to get back on this build. Just been busy with work & life in general.
  12. My local Hobby Shop has this kit & I was thinking of picking it up since it has an engine option with a fuel injected 454.
  13. John your building skills are so precise and accurate its just amazing !
  14. Got the fuel rails finished today but they still need to be cleaned up a bit yet.Next I will mount rails into intake manifold & then start scratch building the fuel pressure regulator & run the fuel lines to the fuel regulator & fuel pump.
  15. Started on the fuel rails this evening & have one fuel rail drilled & all the intake runners are drilled on the intake manifold. Will drill the other fuel rail tomorrow night & test fit the fuel rails then scratch build a fuel regulator.
  16. I also have this kit and I usually build Muscle Cars but wanted to build something different for my next build and to put my own twist on the 32. So I will also be watching this build to see how they turn out which looks like they both will be nice clean builds.
  17. Are the 315/50R15 tires coming soon ? I would be interested in 2 sets.
  18. Got most of the scratch built intake manifold finished. Now I will drill holes for the the fuel rails on all of the intake runners then attach the upper intake to the lower part of the intake & then paint the assembly then add the fuel rails.
  19. Was not happy with the intake manifold so I have started to scratch build one.
  20. John your building skills just blow me away as does your accuracy of the built parts ! and It inspires me to add a little on each of my builds !
  21. Well I have finally got back to the Bee after going to the NNL West Show which was pretty awesome. I brought 3 builds Lamborghini Aventador. 2010 Camaro SS, ZR1 LS9 Corvette & the Lambo was picked to be photographed ! Which was a big surprise to me. So I have started on the assembly of the 426 DOHC Hemi which will be fuel injected & I have made the fuel rails and have installed them & also drilled out a hole for the distributor which will be wired & I will also be adding the fuel lines which I will scratch build also.
