  1. Amazing work Art ! Hope to see this build again next year in Santa Clara & what i was able to see in Feb was awesome. Art what did you use for the fittings on the end of the brake lines and for the rubber brake hose's ?
  2. Happy Building !

  3. Thank you Carl& Michael ! This build has been fighting me a bit but I will get her completed it's just taking a little patience on my behalf and learning from my mistakes.
  4. Well this is what the Bee looks like before the color coat & will try & shoot the color this weekend.
  5. Well got the body stripped of the paint and back in primer again so now its time to shoot the inside of the body with a mat black for the interior color of the headliner then the silver on the outside for the first coat then the color coat. I also have finally scratch built the fuel rails out of aluminum rod & bead wire to simulate the injectors which will be attached to the scratch built manifold.
  6. Just simply awesomely beautiful build !
  7. Awesome Job Build ! What do you use for paint & what do you use to spray with? Airbrush or Rattle can ?
  8. My LHS is quit stocked on kits & they always have the new releases. I always buy from my LHS and the pricing is always competitive.
  9. I bought a can of Rust-oleum Lacquer Clear for clearing small parts but has anyone actually used it to clear a body after it has been painted ?
  10. The paint work is just awesome as is the rest of the build !
  11. Sorry to here that another LHS is closing its doors. Rob where is CRM Hobbies in St. Louis ? I try to travel back to St.Louis at least once a year to see family and friends.
  12. I had not built anything in about 15 years then I had finally able to purchased my second house with a 3 car garage which gave me the space to start building again. I'm not a fast builder but did complete 2 builds last year and 1 this year so far. So I made the trek to Santa Clara (NNL West ) again with the three builds to show and I was a little apprehensive on showing them since I have never shown any of my built models before and all three builds where basically box stock with just a few mods and a few scratch built parts. To my surprise the Lamborghini Aventador that I was showing was selected to be photographed ! plus I had a great time meeting a lot of new people who like to build and talk about model car building. So just build to your liking and just have fun with it !
  13. John your just Awesome ! and so is the Garlits Swamp Rat 33 !!
  14. Looks Great !
  15. I also would like the link to your ebay listings. Thank You
  16. Not complaining just curious about the reissues that are not up to par and are a little bit more in price.
  17. Has anyone noticed that some of the reissues of the AMT kits that the mold lines are pretty bad & it takes quit a bit of work on the body's to get them right plus some of the trim is not molded that well also and has to be reworked. So is it because they are being cast in China or the molds are in that bad a shape or the molds are just not up to par.
  18. Simply Amazing !
  19. While I was fitting the body to the chassie the other night I dropped the car and unfortunately some of the paint on the right rear lower quarter panel had chipped off & the only way to fix this issue will to be to strip the paint & repaint the whole car which means I may change the color.
