  1. Awesome detail work on the brake & ebrake lines !
  2. Thank you Art ! Pat the grill is a piece of screen I picked up from my local hobby shop awhile back. Some progress tonight , I got the panel made to cover the rear seat but is still pretty rough so it needs a little filler & also started the mock up of the rear half of the frame that the four link will mount to. Will try & get some progress pictures up this weekend and thank you all for the comments !
  3. Thanks for the info Jesse, we install the Coyote Motors in the ICON Broncos that we build at work. I did not know that they are not the same motor since I'm just getting aquatinted with Fords products.
  4. Decided to not install the rear seat so I have started scratch building the new piece that will lay there & I will locate the nitrous bottle there also.
  5. I have smoothed out the rear wheel wells & some minor imperfections & now have it in primer so next I will start on rebuilding the portion of the frame then set up the rear suspension.
  6. Happy Farthers Day to all our Fathers today ! Plan for today is breakfest in Malibu at Paradise Cove with the wife & daughter then a stop at the Harley Davidson dealer to take a look at some parts for the softail & look at the moto cloths. Hope all the Dads out there have a wonderful day.
  7. Carl the 2010 Shelby engine fit real well in the 67 Shelby with minimal modifications needed. Some progress this evening on the back half of the undercarriage which was finishing up scratch building the wheel wells & then applying some filler. Next will be redoing the back half of the frame then the rear suspension set up.
  8. Nicely executed Stan !
  9. Carl the engine came out of the Revell Street Burner 2010 Shelby GT 500 kit.
  10. Here are a few mock up pictures. I have been working on smoothing out the rear half of the undercarriage where I have cut out part of the frame and I have shorten the width of the gas tank also so I will have room to add new frame rails for the four link. My next step will be adding the new frame rails & to close in the rear wheel wells and to figure out what height I want the rear suspension to be at.
  11. John it's just mind boggling how detailed you are with your builds & your scratch building skills are just killer.
  12. Cool build ! I have this kit to build in my stash but not sure when I'll get to it but hoping soon.
  13. Very Cool ! You don't see to many of the 69s built and I would love to build that kit.
  14. Decided on the interior color which will be a light tan with the carpet being a little more darker tan then then the light tan. The body color I'm not sure yet but have two colors in mind.
  15. Awesome Build !
  16. Some progress today on the Shelby which was removing both front grills & fitting the replacement grill, attaching the front clip to the body & smoothing the front clip to the body & getting the 4 link ready for the rear suspension & the valve covers in primer which I think I will decal wrap in carbon fiber or maybe paint them the same color as the body which I'm not sure of the color yet but have a good idea what it maybe and also have the seats in primer also.
  17. Mitch thank you for the info on the rims I may look for the kit tomorrow. Some slow progress today but its only body filler on some of the parts that I will be using for the rear suspension.
  18. Started modifying the rear back half yesterday evening to accommodate the rear tires & have a mock up of the motor with the super charger painted with alclad chrome & the engine painted aluminum & the transmission painted magnesium then cleared.
  19. It's the reissue of the AMT. The only issue I have found so far is the fitment of the front clip which will need some work to get it to fit correct.I also would like to be able to get the Eleanor rims for this build so if anyone knows where I can score some please let me know otherwise I will stick with the Torq Thrusters.
  20. Started this 67 Shelby a few days ago and will be doing some mild custom work on her. I did not like the tires that came with the kit so I have found a set that I like for this build. Will also be installing a Super Charged Coyote engine & will have to do some slight modification to the back half to accommodate the tires & updated rear differential and suspension.
  21. John you are are true Artist ! The clutch looks really real and your attention to detail just blows my mind.
