  1. It's been slow on this build but I have made some progress on the interior. The main color is finally laid down which is a sand color so next will be to detail the dash and the door panels. I will be also laying down some darker flocking for the carpeting & attempting to scratch build some front floor mats.
  2. Awesome build ! What kit is that ?
  3. Some progress today which is that I got the two interior side panels painted but still need detailing and the panel I scratched built to cover the rear seat & center console painted and the valve covers wrapped in carbon fiber. I also found some seats today in my extra parts box that will be installed in the Shelby but they are soaking in some brake fluid to remove the paint then be repainted. I also started some work on the rear frame rails also today to accommodate the four link.
  4. Been working on modifying the 2010 Shelby center console with navigation screen to fit the 67 Shelby & the panel that I have scratch built to replace the back seat. After shooting a coat of primer on the modified center console there still is some work to be done to get it to look right.
  5. Take your time Ben I ended up repainting my Super Bee three times and cleared before I got it right.
  6. A little progress this evening on the Shelby which I got the rear panel basically finished that will take the place of the rear seat and while looking at the interior I decided to take the center console from the 2010 donor Shelby & fit it to the 67 & also decided it needed the GPS also and will have to do some modifying to the center dash to accommodate it. Pictures coming soon !
  7. Awesome detail work on the brake & ebrake lines !
  8. Thank you Art ! Pat the grill is a piece of screen I picked up from my local hobby shop awhile back. Some progress tonight , I got the panel made to cover the rear seat but is still pretty rough so it needs a little filler & also started the mock up of the rear half of the frame that the four link will mount to. Will try & get some progress pictures up this weekend and thank you all for the comments !
  9. Thanks for the info Jesse, we install the Coyote Motors in the ICON Broncos that we build at work. I did not know that they are not the same motor since I'm just getting aquatinted with Fords products.
  10. Decided to not install the rear seat so I have started scratch building the new piece that will lay there & I will locate the nitrous bottle there also.
  11. I have smoothed out the rear wheel wells & some minor imperfections & now have it in primer so next I will start on rebuilding the portion of the frame then set up the rear suspension.
  12. Happy Farthers Day to all our Fathers today ! Plan for today is breakfest in Malibu at Paradise Cove with the wife & daughter then a stop at the Harley Davidson dealer to take a look at some parts for the softail & look at the moto cloths. Hope all the Dads out there have a wonderful day.
  13. Carl the 2010 Shelby engine fit real well in the 67 Shelby with minimal modifications needed. Some progress this evening on the back half of the undercarriage which was finishing up scratch building the wheel wells & then applying some filler. Next will be redoing the back half of the frame then the rear suspension set up.
  14. Nicely executed Stan !
  15. Carl the engine came out of the Revell Street Burner 2010 Shelby GT 500 kit.
  16. Here are a few mock up pictures. I have been working on smoothing out the rear half of the undercarriage where I have cut out part of the frame and I have shorten the width of the gas tank also so I will have room to add new frame rails for the four link. My next step will be adding the new frame rails & to close in the rear wheel wells and to figure out what height I want the rear suspension to be at.
  17. John it's just mind boggling how detailed you are with your builds & your scratch building skills are just killer.
  18. Cool build ! I have this kit to build in my stash but not sure when I'll get to it but hoping soon.
