Slow progress on the Bee so here is a mock up for now and I have finished the new hood scoop & I think I will be painting the hood matt black. So as soon as I get some bench time I will lay on the decals. I also still have to finish the foil on the trim and then lay on a few coats of clear as long as the weather cooperates.

Originally from Missouri & I must admit I do miss the snow for the holidays, it just seem the same especially at Christmas when it is 60 to 70 degrees in Ca.

Started on another scratch built hood scoop since I've decided to paint the hood Matt Black and a mock up of the interior. Not sure what steering wheel I will install yet.

More progress but still having issues with uploading pictures. Decided to redo the hood scoop & I think i will paint it black. Have the center console finished but undecided on shifter.

Interior will be black.

So what color Super Bee Strips ? White or the Black ?

Here is the body painted ! Looks better in person. Forgot to mention that the picture was uploaded straight from my smart phone & still will not load from laptop. The specks are actually the pearl clear & Im debating what color strips to use black or the white so any sugestions?

Have some pictures of painted body but they will not upload , says the files are to big but they are not.

Started on the paint today but can not post pictures due to my wi fi is not working correctly so I have to give updates via smart phone.

Finally came up with a color after testing different colors of reds & oranges. The picture does not give it the true color that it is which I came up with four layers of color to get the depth and metallic look.

Chris got the rims from Arrowhead Aluminum & it took awhile to get them but was well worth the wait. Thank you all for the encouragement and comments on this build.

Started on the scratch built hood scoop & wheel mock up.

I work at a company called TLC/ICON turned wrenches for 15 years on Land Cruisers now head of the parts department & quality control on the repairs of the Land Cruisers also deal with parts counter sales & tech questions. This year for SEMA we will unveil another ICON vehicle.

Finally able to get back to the bench after having some major surgery. So this is the Super Bee I had started a few months ago and now making a little progress on this build.

I'm not really much of a Ford guy but I like this Galaxie ! Going to build a Mustang sometime in the future.

Looks Awesome !
