Awsome paintjob. The artwork on the hood remind me of somthing Boris Vallejo could have done. -
Another beauty. I like how you have some windows rolled down. Gorgeous model.

Turned out fantastic. As said before it looks like the real deal

Hello. Is there any kit or aftermarket who offers vintage air-conditon from the 50s and 60s? I`m fixing a 64 Bonneville and thought it would look neat with air condition. I could snag the pump from a Monogram 59 Cadillac, but i`m not sure it would be correct?

2'n 1 kits good or bad?

Engine/performance: Parts pack with induction set-ups for Buick Nailhead,Chevy 348/409 and early 392 hemis would be cool. No blowers, just fuel injection and carb set ups in diffrent styles. Also hot rod headers and sidepipes. -
Another junker who deserve a second life. Complete beside the box.

1967 Plymouth Belvedere Bench Seat..Any Ideas?
om617 replied to impcon's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
I have a spare 68 Fury (Johan police car) front bench to spare if you can get confirmed it has the correct pattern. This or wait until i get it stripped. The paint on it now is too thick to get a good idea of how the pattern is,but beside this it`s nothing wrong with the bench. I`m converting the police car into a 2door hardtop and thought go bucket & console. The car pictured looks like it hides somthing big under the hood aka sleeper- 16 replies

Used Tamiya TS14 (gloss black) before Alclad and had pretty nice results. This is Alclad out of rattle-can,not airbrush.

The Tamiya Mercedes Benz w140 600 series (Also AMG version) does have a nice m120 v12 engine. You will find the same engine in the CLK-GTR in race spesification, separate throttlebodys and some beautiful headers. If you could work this engine onto the transmission from the w140 series you have 600hp + v12. You will find the m117 16v ohv v8 engines in the 500SEC models (c126chassis). These range from 230hp to 300,the later in the facelift ece 560 series in Euro spec. The only visual diffrence is the vale covers on the facelift engines are satin black on the 1:1. From the r129 or 500SL you can source the m119 32v v8 engine. This has stock 326hp in euro-spec. These engines where offered by AMG up to 6 liters, also Brabus and Carlsson, the visual aspect of the tunder cars is that often the Brabus ones did have red valve covers. This engine in another more crazy configuration you will find in the Sauber C9 race cars, with double turbos, pushing around 850hp +. Others, there are 4bangers in the Esci w201 or 190 series as some call it,but these are the 8valve version. I bought the 16v version because i own a 2,5 16v myself, and was disapointed when i found out they did not create the correct engine for the 16v kit. Fujimii offers the straight six,m104 24v,this ranges from 193hp to 336hp,the later Carlsson C37 RS I`m sure there are more, but this is what i could come up with now.

I have a feeling you are making assumptions. The alcohol is 99% pure for medical use. It clearly says use protection when using it. The softer type of soap was used in the end,the soaking and rubbing i used oven cleaner, also somthing you are required to use glows on,or it burns your skin, dont ask me how i know. I will not use lacquer thinner on resin. -

Yes i was told those two where close to identical. I`m really excited to try it out so i can get started on strip old builds and clean these resin bodys. -
Check out the work of Roadster Shop on facebook, prepared to be amazed by the workmanship and variety in subjects and style. They been doing this for over 30 years but maby only recently got lot`s of PR,and well deserved it is,even if me personally might not drool on every type of style build.

I bought a gallon Purple Power and two bottles of Scalecoat Model RR paint wash away stripper. The last said to be very good, this based upon rumours only so will see. I`ll get back on the results when i try it out. Thanks for ideas and suggestions. I did not find any good pinned threads on resin-prep or paint remover on here? -

What cars interest you in resin 1/25
om617 replied to 5.0man's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
I must have mistaken it for somthing else. I swear i did see several types of wagons using the Revell 49 Olds as donor on ebay. It could have been a Pontiac maby.
