  1. I think this is the best third gen Camaro I've seen, both 1:1 and 1:25.
  2. Nice,very classy ride.
  3. Very nice bull, the two tone color really makes it pop.
  4. Nice 33,love all the details.
  5. Beautiful Impala.
  6. I can see why you assume it does, but the explanation is here.
  7. First one done for this year. This went a little better then the Cuda even if i made many mistakes and arent too happy about it. What is done is i bashed a AMT Viper coupe for suspension, engine, transmission, brake booster and engine managment. The rear back up lights was made out of clear parts three, inspired by two other builders on this forum. The plenum and intake is from Revell (Thank you evilbay lol). The steelies are from a member on here, dont remember hes name but has ebay store. The dog dish are from Missing Link and are great. Paint is tamiya, dip stick is home made, alternator wire is just wire lol. Heater hoses are wire isolation, radiator hose is scale production, the hose clamps are Top Studio. Exhaust is modified Cuda AAR. I regret having some blackwash on the engine, because now it looks dirty. Also the rear window is a joke. Anyway, thanks all for the tip and suggestions in the WIP. Here are some pics. Thanks for watching, and if you like it or hate it,let me know.
  8. Thanks for the tip. I do maby have a deal on an old build up that isnt a gluebomb,i dont think i would have a heart to chop into a mint kit. Yes i know it`s only plastic, but considering the pricetag and how rare they are i just cant.
  9. I would prefer if anyone want to give me constructive criticism to post it in my WIP threads over getting PM. This way others can take notice. I also enjoy suggestions and ideas,i find them inspiring even if i dont follow them.
  10. Great,it would make it a little more easy,thanks.
  11. It will always be hard for some to take constructive criticism because they cant hear your voice or see your facial expression as you say it. This would be the downside of internet. This said some people just love to be offended. I agree with everything Bruce Coy said ,but have not noticed the hens yet lol
  12. Yes,$500 pr petrol car newer than 30 years and $550 if you have a diesel. Also there is road tax on tractors, motorbikes, snowmobiles and close to anything with an engine. After WW2 there was restrictions and sanctions on who was allowed to drive cars so they made somthing called luxury tax. It was not until the late 50s cars where allowed on a free market and could be bought by anyone, but the tax stuck with it and have been increasing since then. So if you have 4 cars it`s $2000 a year. Also when you buy a car,for cars model 2000 and older, you will need to pay $255 to register in you`re name and get plates. If you buy a 2000model and up until today you need to pay between $600 and $1500 depending on the cars weight. Another example. A base C Class Mercedes is $35800 in USA: A base C-Class in Norway is $63000.
  13. Spend quite a bit of time on ebay and it seem to be an trend the recent months to part out vintage kits and sell part by part. Anyone else noticed? Anyway,i got this years road tax,so there is $500 out the window.
  14. If you read the first post over again you pretty much sum it up. Interior will be a challenge yes,i assume the dash is completely diffrent from the Starfire? And i always apriciate suggestions. Big thanks to Ed Fluck, Jr. for giving me the chance of getting the correct front end.
  15. Hello Ed, i will send you an e-mail so i get to see pictures of the parts.
  16. Thank you for the info. Yes,the rear grill should not be to difficult to remove/modify,but i would really love to have the front part you see in that bag for the kit. Does anyone know who manufacture this wagon? Bill,do you have any pictures of the real deal? I love these 63 models, really clean and elegant cars. This is the car that got me into american cars as a kid,my aunt`s boyfriend bought a holiday with sky rocket engine. It was white with light blue inside, and it made the most amazing rumble even with stock exhaust. Not sure about performance numbers on this car but it pulled pretty good and made some impressions on a 10 year old car nut who usually was an passengerin Mercedes diesels and japanese cars.
  17. What are the chances of getting hold off or made the front end and rear bumper from this kit? I going to do an attempt at build an Holiday coupe out of the Johan Starfire kit. Will be using the 64 Impala roof. But the most important part is the lights, grill and bumper. This is the car i want to make: http://www.iagclassics.com/carpages/1963-Olds-Dynamic-88-White-For-Sale.html (Image credit: Dave Lindsay on fotki)
  18. This looks amazing
  19. Sweet Thunderbird
  20. Very nice. Great to see these unusual subjects built
  21. Nice and shiny,great color
  22. Turned out really nice, stance, color everything
  23. I think you are right about 67. The 68 does not have the DeVille badge on the rear quarter.
  24. Hello. I`m onto this old Cadillac project and would like to do an attempt at restore it. The problem is,i dont know what exact year it is,so if anyone on here does know 100% exact year of this Cadillac i would really appriciate the help before i go on order parts. Some pics.
  25. The Jenson Interceptor and Iso cars where high end grand touring cars, not muscle cars. Speaking of Mercedes (I would exclude it because of 4doors and pricetag) in the late 60s,if anyone remember the 300SEL 6.3. This car was close to as fast as a big block Corvette. The diffrence was it had superb handling .http://jalopnik.com/167995/required-riding-mercedes-benz-300sel-63
