  6. hey Chuck , i have a question about valve covers , i see the fancy ones with the lines and names painted , do they paint the entire thing and then wipe to top off clean ??

  12. the man in Brown came again today , i never knew Santa wore a brown uniform anyway he left me some paints and 2 of my all time totaly fav autos ,, i just love these cars
  13. this was a car my neighbor had when i was little , raced at Seekonk Speedway in the early 60's , i remember it had a 427 or it may have been 409 , but it was not a dirt track car he raced , but the fuel line , i didn't feel like buying any fittings for this build or making one , this build is not even close to being as good as i wanted it to turn out , but it is my first one , but i do remember clearly that the firewall was bare cause i remember him clearly taking the body off a lot and it took like 10 minutes and a handfull of screws , i also remember it had this mallory ignition , he flipped a switch and i remember it making several beeps and then firing up
  14. i am not sure if this will be in any book i would buy , still i am going to be buying a few books this week , but my Q on carbs is , how do you guys that use these carbs make them look so darn good ,, every kit i bought so far the first thing i look at are the carbs and i look and think ,, no way in heck can these carbs be any of the same carbs you guys are using , am i missing something here ,, i sure would love to see a video of someone doing up a carb detail
