hey Brett i was looking at the engine and i see some writing on it ,, how did that get there , and also on the engine how did you paint it , brush or airbrush , the way the carb is painted is unreal cool ,,, it looks mega cool

well i am making some progress , made the floor pan and front end is done , had to scrape the front end that was used on this chassis and mashed one from a parts kit i bought , it's not perfect by any means , if i had tons of spare parts i could have made a better front end , the chassis i am using didn't come with brakes , so i made someting to look like the plate on drum brakes , no way near scale or function just something to look like brakes ,, i'll run brake lines , fuel lines and such , now i am waiting for paint so i can do the engine , being a first build i picked a bugger of a build , to many mods and it's amazing what you have to plan for but i am moving forward , slowly , but every time i turn around i need something i dont have and that sets me back

well growing up everyone in my neighborhood had Impala SS's , i love that word , Super Sport ,, and i just like the looks of the old Chevys

now there is a reality show , a demo derby of the rich and famous ,, i was at Lime Rock one year , a guy rented a race car , crashed it and handed over a check for 85 thousand like it was 20 dollars and his wife was laughing ,,,

well the cars are coming , 7 today and waiting on 7 more , and i really like the quality of this airbrush , seems solid and well made ,,, what have i gotten myself into

i see so so many of you use this paint , not sure if there are just a few colors you use , or a bunch , i am tempted to get all of them , it's like 60 dollars

does this one look like a battery terminal , is it passable , or do it again ???,, i drilled an.032 hole for the post , i have a roll of .032 solder to use as a post

well dont laugh at my desk top , one day i was looking for info on my Dads ship during WW2 and i came across this pic and it just totaly blew me away , so i had to use it for my desk top ,,,,,,,, just an amazing pic
