Yup. I taught her commands in German (i used to live over there, Dresden, miss it like hell really.) Anyway my wife speaks French (i dont and she doesnt speak GErman) so to annoy me she taught Witty commands in French.......... Trouble is she is so smart, that when i tried to teach Alfred, the bull dog commands in english....he was sooooooooooo stupid, she actually picked up the commands meant for him. He likes to sleep under the covers with us on a cold night, trouble is hes that stupid he cant get his head under the duvet as he stands on it, and has no idea how to open a door wider with his head. Muscle he has a lot of, brain power none -

I do like to put 2 cars together on the same base, but either 2 totally different cars, or if the same car, maybe a slick top/ plane and a market unit, on a traffic stop. The American bull dog, was a foster we took in last year as it was doing bad in kennels, but he sorta became one of the family and a year on hes nothing like the skinny ill depressed thing he was. Totally stupid, beyond belief, both are madly in love together. Shes smart enough for both of them though -

Be a while before i complete one, need to save up and get some decals sent over, maybe Bil Bozo ones. I do like the NYPD car, after looking at lots of pics of the real thing, i noticed 3 different at least wheels used, and other things, coloured side mirrors etc I didnt think it was as complex until i saw it here, i thought much more basic and less part. I have seen lots of pics of these in serious crashes, around the front end so lots of parts, detail etc if i wanted to do one like that, lots of small parts strewn around the street. What are the weak points in this kit, useful things i should know before i start. Look forward to starting it soon

I brush on a klear floor polish, then when that has dried i airbrush on a tyre black, or something similar by Tamiya. I thin with cellulose thinners which is why i protect the rubber with Klear first -

thanks guys, i had these, the decals and still another pile of the same sort of stuff for well over 14 years and never touched them so thought its about time. Trouble is the decal sheets have so many errors, and someone pointed out that they had to redone to fix the glaring errors but i have pre fixed ones, like the white STATE TROOPER and not gold for the FHP. Each time i went to a new vehicle decal sheet i found errors. The FHP i will have sat on some grass at the side of a road The AMT Monaco, will be sat alongside a poor maintained KW 123 on a traffic stop. I do struggle with doing the thin black rubber strips on the bodywork, its a bad weak point of mine. -

thanks for the replies. The Lindberg Crown Vic im using is a later car than in the pics, i guess i can live with that. And as i added the rear shelf lights the kit panel behind the rear seats is different....not much i can do about that, the basic shape where there red rear light moulding, and i guess what are speaker housings. Its only noticiable if you place the kit next to the pic of the real thing I have noticed after looking at many hundreds of pics, slight variations in markings added to the panels of vehicles, interesting. -

Something like the drawing below. I want to use the Fire SUV and a same location cop car, so 2 vehicles on a base, either a burnt out wreck, or front of a burnt out building i will make -

I didnt want to go crazy on super detailing, like seat belts, buckles etc etc. Just the basics. I have ideas for the finished cars. The NYPD and Transit cop cars will be on a street section (thinking of a couple of yellow cabs in the back ground) Both cars have responded to a call on a subway entrance, so i will scratch build something like this Hopefully, been waiting almost 2 weeks now so getting worried, lots of the American Diorama and other figures will arrive, so i can finish off the 2 car, one crashed NYPD street scene -

No idea what the real inside of the fire SUV would be, radios etc. Most of the windows are tinted so i will do that and that will cut out the light -

The decal sheet says use the smaller of the 2 sizes for cars/SUVs but they are still too big, as you can see on the front door -
I started with the Impala, then noticed the Chimneyville decals had problems, then each car along i found errors with the decal sheets, from white STATE TROOPER for the FHP instead of gold and wrong sized items for the Fire SUV. I know i mae a boob with the POLICE on the front wings of the Transit car, too high, should be lower above the wheel arch

Looked around, im guessing its the same as the Phantom boxing. Never seen the kit but people said it would be idea for a Ambulance. I have the AMT Emergency 911 but know the front is many years different to the rest of the kit, i plan to use it sometime in a vignette, a head on crash. Anyway can anyone give me some tips etc about this one? thanks http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1-25-AMT-Ford-Econoline-Custom-Van-/151302208558?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEWNX%3AIT&_trksid=p2047675.l2557&nma=true&si=f66vt1%252BRhPdQWx2CJK34pxBNBsw%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc
