  1. Does anyone know of any after market ones? i got some tyres from policecarmodels, along with some wheels, but they are too modern. So after some for Monaco/Fury. The chrome hubs differ too. Any after market ones out there? ta muchly
  2. Your lucky, here in the UK, the 5 Lindberg Crown Vics i got last week got import tax, then a handling fee..... Handling fee was more than the tax. Held them up for a couple of days.... Nightmare. Its not as if your allowed eq of $100 or $200 before you have to pay tax, is about $25 then you are stung
  3. looks good so far. add a little wiring from lead wire, or the inside of cables etc. add a little detail and you will be well happy. just a couple from the altenator etc.
  4. Not had a reply in 4 days, is there anyone else who does taxi decals i could try? thanks
  5. I dont really dig cars before the very late 60's but i like this one. Not my cup of tea but i could look at it over and over.
  6. Where i am upto now. Just got to tidy bits up and then call it done. Will look ok through the open drivers window so that will do. First time ever done this to a cop car. I might soon do them again, but to exact size and dimensions, and cast some in resin
  7. thanks, sent a message no reply, it says he was running a back log but should be up and running by now. Im getting a couple of the Taxi and bullet ones
  8. Come across this, matches a few nice real cop car pics. Is the resin etc good? At the mo im building my last HH 70's Ford that i would need as a donor, so might have to grab me 1 or 6 when i can afford it lol. Any tips you guys can give would be great, also if there are any other resin or conversions for other cop cars (i do want a Caprice wagon resin, i think thats still available) http://www.missinglinkrc.com/78_LTD.htm
  9. ta. m going to town with this Charger interior, i dont plan on doing the engine bay though. I plan on it being a NYPD HP and the photo with all the electronic stuff is from one of those cars. I plan on a little more wear on the throttle pedal, but i never could understand why US cop cars i see on tv are always automatics. I dont plan on so much detail interior work on the others really, plus most i only see a little bit of speed camera stuff. I did notice on a pic, i wouldnt have thought either, and the instructions didnt say, but they removed the 2 rear door handles. I have found someone over here to go halves on the Bill Bozo decals, also on lots of license plates, newspapers and other scale stuff too like shop signs etc. so thats great. some Jbot NY taxi decals too. I got this a couple of days ago, well when it arrives. Heard about them but never seen one. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/151309990844?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

  12. I have made a tiny video cam, radar gun thing, a red flashing light unit that i see at the top just inside the windscreen. Also the drivers sun visor has some little note pad and papers with elastic band around. Got to make a small lcd like in the pic above. Will show it once painted later if anyones interested
  13. i have a Harder and Steenback, build quality is amazing and i can do the tiniest fine lines that i need for military modles
  14. Tamiya extra thin is excellent. been using it for year. I got some My Hobby Mr Cement and its just a even a little better than the Tamiya one.
  15. i use super glue, various viscosities so use whats best for the job. Someone ages ago recommended some alligator stuff, i used it and the whole bottle went hard in no time at all.

  23. I guess they spoke English as i guess they dont know Dutch. I had planned on going around Europe this summer, late on but i doubt it now. So miss not living in Germany. I do speak once a year to a big boss, who comes over to the big model show here, gives me a chance to keep up with my German
