  1. Also applying to the Revell Impala, thats looking good also. In the rear of the photo is a 2nd Charger i build, that is being used for testing the radar etc electcical items im scratch building and going to use as masters. It was to be a SC HP car, but i noticed the kit 5 spoke chrome wheels look so wrong, just too flat as the spokes dont go inwards.
  2. Not uploaded the new pics yet to photobucket, but spent the day applying our NYPD decal sheet to the Lindberg Charger. Only put pics up on FB so far. Anyway if your on FB, the link should show you the Charger pic. I know the rear door CPR decals are not spaced right, knew that before the test sheet was printed and sent to me. Not cut around the door handles yet on the top long blue strip. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10154358405740571&set=ms.c.eJxlzksOgEAIA9AbmXb4ev~_LKTstC0LyQgGC4RbtmBbFix~%3BxJaVSU3~%3BJJS2phN56MyqE7MkDnTn6T9pKWav4PakHwbMySg~-~-.bps.a.10154190054755571&type=1&theater
  3. Like the ambulance with the extra height added, did you just scratch built it based on pics or drawings? I have a old van i plan on doing like that hopefully soon. I also recently bought the Johan red fire/ambulance that i want to build, while watching 3rd series of Emergency! (like im doing as i write this) i saw white and yellow ones in the background. i think they look cool S
  4. Thanks, a lot of work has gone into it so far and should be 100% right in a month or 2. I need to test it on a few things first once my friend whos printing them sends it me. I have completed a scratch built push bar as used by the NYPD, the most common of the 2 i have seen on hundreds of images. I started a 2nd Charger, to use as a test bed for new centre consoles im making, roof liner mounted electics and dash board radars etc. I planned it being a SC HP which has the silver wheels but the kit ones are so bad. just flat and not angled 5 spokes like the real thing.
  5. looks great. I loved the old Celicas, i had a few from the late 70's ones, but stopped when they went FWD as i hate that. I so miss my old 70's cars. Only cars i would own are Japenese or German. I wouldnt be seen dead in anything French or American or made in UK.....although a few months ago i got a 15 year old Cherokee, its horrendous. Badly fitting plastic all over, it handles bad and just so uncomfy to drive. I only got it as i live at the highest point in my city so 4x4 would have been useful, and i had plannned on drivin a round trip of 3000 miles towing a russian 4x4. After a few days i knew it would be no good for such a long trip........only good thing about it is that i just pour veg cooking oil straight into the tank and off i drive.
  6. Leicester?
  7. This is one that always turns on up on searches, the into by someone leaving a comment at the bottom is good. http://bringatrailer.com/2008/01/05/streets-of-san-francisco-1970-ford-police-cruiser/ I do like this one as i know its real, where i find old decals i guess is a problem though
  8. thats great, gives me good info to start looking now. much app
  9. Can anyone help me with what places actually did use the Ford 70 Custom, so i can build my AMT (i know its a Galxie). Again looking on google, i find a nice SFPD, but its false and i cant actually find a real era vehicle. Even unmarked cop cars would be cool. I do like the decals that came in the box (i have a HH b/w boxing, thats done as a umarked car from some years ago). I know CHP is ficticious. The others i dont know, i didnt get any info or pics where to put the decals. The Chicago looks like though.
  10. yeah, same as the later CV. I dont do die cast, plus while cheap in US bloomin expensive over here, weight is a lot to flu over BTW i have found some SF PD pics for the 70s ford BUT only modern pics etc, so not sure if just a made up car. What actually can i do the AMT kit as? google isnt much use
  11. cool pics. i dont know of anyone who does a plastic kit like that
  12. cheers. i know the engine was totally wrong in the kit, but i didnt know why but i do now :-) I have watched gone in 60 seconds at least a 100 times, esp from the 40 min chase start as he pulls of the alarm wires from under the hood. Infact the HH boxing i started some years ago i did a unmarked car as seen that they have the movie camera in between them. I know there were Polara and Belvedres used in the movie, 4 door cars but where only the 2 door ones were done in plastic, so need converting. Would anyone go totally crazy if they saw someone used the Galaxie (why not Galaxy?) as a CHP car?
  13. I have just had delivered the snap tite Custom Ford Expedition, and like the first issue Impala comes with stickers.. Also just got the AMT Ford Interceptor, i only had the b/w HH boxings before. The decal sheet looks fantastic quality, but CHP??? thats a new one on me. Others im not sure at all but the Chicago looks ok i think
  14. cool cheers at the moment im scratch building a pushbar for the NYPD Charger. Love to see soe more cop cars etch
  15. This is a work in progress sheet we are doing, it had been tested on the Impala but i noticed a slight error, and i mean slight, so that has been fixed. I should be getting my hands on it in the next few days to test it on my Charger.
  16. oh yeah, disgusting. I have been working with someone over here to do a perfect sheet, That will fit the Charger, revell Impala 05 perfect and many others.
  17. Not the kit light but but a modified die cast one. quick made parcel shelf flashers hundreds of images in photo bucket
  18. Its coming along now
  19. ah cool. interesting
  20. I have a couple of the Johan Fury car, built one years ago when i first started making models. At the time i didnt know LAPD didnt use them, so the decals were ficticous. Picked up a lot of info since that mistake lol, still much more to learn! Im sat here 'supposed' to be tidying up my models room, but i keep pulling a kit from the shelving and taking a look, i did it just now with the Lindberg Cop Dodge Caravan, i have never found a pic of it used as a Cop vehicle, i guess somewhere it might have been but i wonder why Lindberg released it, i guess put a few cop items in with a regular kit and people will buy it. I have plans for the kit, to be used as a normal civilian car. I did get the other week, at a very low price for it, and very rarely seen over here the Johan Fire Rescue Ambulance, i had never actually seen one until this came
  21. I like it, a lot. Being a military modeller normally its the sort of thing i would add dents and scapes to and weather the hell out of it :-)
  22. I like it, seen pics of their 06 Charger and want to make a model of that. Like your removal of the scuff strips too!
  23. One thing i have noticed about every cop car kit i have bought, is none came with the handle for the guy inside to adjust the spot light on the outside. I have only really seen a couple of different handles but both are pretty similar, i fancy making those in resin from a master i plan on doing soon. Why cop kits never had them i dont know
