ah, not a member so cant see the pic. I always build kerbside, i never do engine bay detail unless i have many all round close up shops, so i can goto town and to it all, and the brakes, suspension etc.

thanks for the info, the same seller had both Magnums at the same time, but with diff pics, thats what threw me. I thought the car was a little earlier than 91, as i remember when a Vauxhall dealer IIRC had some to sell. (after seeing the revell 85 box, 86/87 is around the time i remember) I have found a AMT Heritage Ed. kit on ebay, no idea what the final price will go for. Only snaptite one i could find showed a really heavily modded car with crazy graphics. thats one of the many books i have :-) i got loads many years ago before shipping to here went crazy. Kerbside is good enough, i dont do engine bays etc I used to see Iroc Zs over here, and the odd poor RS (one other week infact) i found 2, different box numbers but not sure why, both same price

Seen this Revell Monogram 1 24 - 1985 Camaro Z-28 - Rvm4015. Got lots of pics and decal options, but whats the kit like generally? Is there a better kit out there? RVM2019 - Revell Monogram 1:25 - Dodge Magnum SRT8 I cant find anything much on these 2 kits, i guess the cheaper one is a snaptite. I would so love a few of the later ones, such a shame if thats the reason The only thing that would be good about the new snap tite (are there any pics online yet?) would be if the scuff strips are not moulded on

As others said the Revell 3 in 1 is a T bar roof (i made my kit into one of the 12 CHP cars). You can easily fill the roof panels in, smooth it all, then just use a decal shaped like the one in your pic.

Its popular all over the world, had been filmed in my local city for some parts. Anyway whats that about the Revell Crown Vic snap tite? seems a total waste of time, esp as the Lindberg is still around a 74 Monaco like seen on CHiPs etc would be nice

no, we are a peaceful and loving country. ah not heard of the NF for a long time, other similar types though.

what kit is the original pis of? im not really up on things like this, i know of the AMT/Matchbox one that it looks like to me (i have that kit). but i dont really have a clue. they look good though, i want to make a model of a LA one, around the 70s as seen in CHiPs, Emergency and GOne in 60 seconds etc

yeah good points. Seen the tv shows with the different gangs in prisons, showing what the tattoos etc mean, and the colours on the streets. I could go down that route, really heavy type, but for this more of just what im looking for, a guy or 2, forced to pull over, rather than the tattooed Uzi drug dealing gangs as seen on tv. I dont want to force people to look at that esp now still serving, and ex officers, it could be seen making light of such of the subject, esp as i see on the Facebook US police pages i follow, like LAPD and CHP, for reference images etc. it seems every week a officer is killed, road traffic accident, shot etc., such a big statement, but rather just a couple of early 20s guys, im limited to 14x14 inches, so not enough to have 2 cars in a line. So gone for a the car driven down the alley, with the LAPD CV coming other direction, and the gang car has come to a stop as cant get past, at a angle, sort of, due to the opposite side of the alley to the long chain link fence is a long brick wall, and a big telegraph pole. I use a lot of model making groups on FB etc so lots of people might get to see it, and dont want it to be too distasteful. This is the real image of the alley. I bought that kit from the US about 12 years ago, as i saw almost the same car in a Cop car book. I would like to have a few inches of wasteland behind the long fence. Seen a pic like that with a old wreck thats been dumped. So thought of using some parts like in the image here With a NO TRESPASSING sign, and the brick wall at the other side (3/4s having rendering on, so only a couple of layers of bricks at the top) covered in graffiti and a NO PARKING sign Fence and gate not quite completed. I need to complete the barbed wire fence along the fence panel, and make some litter, plastic bags etc torn and caught up on it, as i saw on lots of images in the last few days I dont really want to go down the style of heavy gangsters like seen on cop shows,

lol yeah sorry. LA street gangs maybe a better word. those who add huge chrome rims and make their cars just up and down. I saw the movie End of Watch the other week, that was interesting (i saw the same Lindberg type CV on the tv news reporters article). Like seen in The Shield (my fave ever cop show)

thanks guys, the homies figures i had never seen, but i can see they are the same brand as the cops/sheriffs, greasers etc i have, the homies are like the trailer park guys, a little too toy/cartoon like i should have written modern, gang bang? type gangsters, i completey didnt think about the old tommy gun type gangster
