Bought this kit last year for 5 bucks at the Southern NNL and decided to build it now. So far, I've filled the holes , and got the suspension set. This is being built as a Lowrider in one of the Cali Swangin DVDs... Paint is Gum drop. Spokes were color matched as well...

Got the interior done, and body is in paint. Got the hood made and it's in primer now.

I used Pegasus 1109s, but removed the spokes and put the rims from the (I believe it was) AMT 69 Hurst Olds kit...

Decided to start this one. First thing to do was shave the door handles and side trim. Second was to do a motor swap. Using the engine from the 67 Impala street machine kit... Wheels are from the Fujimi Chevy Astro van Xenon kit...

As much as I like the body style , this car was a big piece of poo when it came to fitment and the front bumper had to be repaired and patched with foil ( nice chunk was missing just below the grille ) , and there was enough flash to make another body...

Got this one finished ... Went for a 70s era Lowrider.... Paint is Krylon pumpkin orange and I am impressed with the new formula of their paint now...
