  1. This is pretty awesome. https://imgur.com/a/uPGwE
  2. People do that to bump the thread to the top of the page for more visibility
  3. try Imgur.com. Super easy. It's very quick at resizing pictures for you too.
  4. Probably the nicest model photo I've seen. Looks awesome.
  5. congratulations! Mine will be 4 months this week. I always volunteer to watch him because he sleeps so much. Never had more time for modelling than I do now.
  6. This is Eduard PE harness. It's PE metal that is already painted. I like them a lot. http://i.imgur.com/E1oRx.jpg
  7. "already" running windows 7? It's only been out for 5 years. Microsoft Security Essentials is all you need. It's live, free and updates itself. Takes a few minutes to download.
  8. I wasn't implying it couldn't. I guess I was just bragging, I've never had a computer like this before.
  9. my personal computer at home has 16gb RAM, Solid State drive, dual video cards and stuff. I traded services to a buddy who builds computers. It does what I want, when I want, and super fast. I can download full movies in HD in literally a few minutes. I remember 13 years ago in high school waiting a full minute for a low resolution photo of Pamela Anderson to load.
  10. I just bought a new desktop yesterday for my office. it came with Windows 8.1. It takes some getting used to, but so far I like it. 8GB RAM, Gen$ i5 3.2ghz processor and 1TB hard drive for $499
  11. http://blogs.hotrod.com/the-best-hot-rod-april-fools-jokes-of-2014-110529.html#axzz2xloIBO5C
  12. Scaleplasticcars.com is a great one
  13. Art,thank you. I was under the impression that all the "special edition" models were newly tooled.
  14. This may be an inappropriate question, but I have a morbid fascination with crime scene photos and stories, forensic work, etc. Do you prefer not to talk about that stuff or are you pretty open about it?
  15. It's like they didn't even try
  16. They are ending support. It doesn't mean your computer is going to self destruct.
  17. I'm assuming the model car garage pe kit for Mr Norm's dodge dart will also work for the new tool 68 dart hemi kit? Does anyone know otherwise?
  18. They may have used tilt shift photography, but I have never seen it done this close up, so I am not sure These are all actual pictures done this way https://www.google.com/search?q=tilt+shift+photography&safe=off&client=firefox-a&hs=Xo1&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&channel=fflb&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=2DA3U7u4KKHN2AW5iYDQBA&ved=0CAgQ_AUoAQ&biw=1920&bih=976
  19. "forcing you to change" from a 13 year old system is not really that big of a deal. 13 years in the world of computers is a LONG time. After that was Vista, 7 and now 8 and 8.1. If you upgrade, I would recommend 7. Vista was terrible and 8/8.1 will be trickier to get used to. My favorite thing about 7 is the window snap feature. I use this every single day, to watch a movie and browse the internet on the second window watch this video: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/arrange-windows-side-by-side-on-the-desktop-using-snap
  20. windows 7 has been the best for me, I know a lot will disagree. Just ordered new desktop yesterday with windows 7. I use Microsoft Security Essentials for protection and it works better than all the other BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH out there. It's free, has no add-on BS and always updates itself. It's caught everything so far. Haven't used anything else in 6 or more years http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/security-essentials-download
  21. Try automotive turn signal bulbs. Break them open and snag the springs.
  22. the whole country is cheaper than the CA Bay area. Well one side of the bay anyway. My friend rents a house in Huntington Beach in a good neighborhood for $1500-ish a month. You can live more inland too and still get to the beach in 20 minutes
  23. I lived in Florida for 8 months for school. 1 month after I left, a hurricane ripped the roof off the school. with the earthquakes, sandstorms and 120 degree heat, I'm happy with where I live. I hate traffic and I'm scared of hurricanes and tornadoes. I don't mind a little shakin' . I'm not going anywhere.
