  1. It's mostly fondant. Eat a plate full of fondant and then decided whether or not you think they should have thrown it away. It's practically inedible
  2. Well this is pretty fantastic news https://twitter.com/tanujlakhina/status/459671376853352448
  3. I understand how these things get swept under the rug and most of the time it is just part of the business, but when safety is involved, it need to get with immediately. There really is no excuse. I am a GM fan and owner, and will shortly be in the market for a new truck. As much as I am set on a new GMC, I'll look elsewhere if they think their customers are expendable.
  4. It's based off a Lotus Elise/Exige. Nothing to do with the Viper. It even uses a GM engine in the exact article you posted, it explains how they moved away from their original Viper platform, to a mid engine Elise based car.
  5. I saw this in person in 2000. Ugliest thing I have ever seen http://www.muscularmustangs.com/database2/mach3.jpg
  6. There is photoshop used in each one, but it's definitely the ability to line up the shots that makes it work.
  7. That's really cool. I wish I saw more of these types of business around.
  8. I was a auto tech for a while. I always bought the best, but I did have a set of sockets and wrenches from Husky my dad got me as a graduation gift. I used them every single day alongside everything else and they survived. Just started rounding out a wrench or two, but nothing bad. Never broke a socket. For someone on a budget, Husky is hands down the way to go. I recall Stanley or one of the manufacturers being sued a long time ago for their "made in usa" claim, when they didn't meet the requirements to be able to use that slogan. The majority of their stuff was being made offshore.
  9. My stash consists of 50/50 Tamiya/Revell or Monogram. I've built 1-2 AMT's and can't stand them. I like the Revell kits most of the time, and for the subject matter, they are the only way I will go, but Tamiya has the most consistent and best quality, IMO.
  10. I'm a manual guy, but I have an auto in my GMC. It has a shift kit and 3k stall converter. I can hold any gear I want, throttle is snappy and it will shift faster than anyone can shift a standard 5 speed. The truck and two cars I had before this were stocks, and I definitely have a lot more fun driving them.
  11. This is pretty awesome. https://imgur.com/a/uPGwE
  12. People do that to bump the thread to the top of the page for more visibility
  13. try Imgur.com. Super easy. It's very quick at resizing pictures for you too.
  14. Probably the nicest model photo I've seen. Looks awesome.
  15. congratulations! Mine will be 4 months this week. I always volunteer to watch him because he sleeps so much. Never had more time for modelling than I do now.
  16. This is Eduard PE harness. It's PE metal that is already painted. I like them a lot. http://i.imgur.com/E1oRx.jpg
  17. "already" running windows 7? It's only been out for 5 years. Microsoft Security Essentials is all you need. It's live, free and updates itself. Takes a few minutes to download.
  18. I wasn't implying it couldn't. I guess I was just bragging, I've never had a computer like this before.
  19. my personal computer at home has 16gb RAM, Solid State drive, dual video cards and stuff. I traded services to a buddy who builds computers. It does what I want, when I want, and super fast. I can download full movies in HD in literally a few minutes. I remember 13 years ago in high school waiting a full minute for a low resolution photo of Pamela Anderson to load.
  20. I just bought a new desktop yesterday for my office. it came with Windows 8.1. It takes some getting used to, but so far I like it. 8GB RAM, Gen$ i5 3.2ghz processor and 1TB hard drive for $499
  21. http://blogs.hotrod.com/the-best-hot-rod-april-fools-jokes-of-2014-110529.html#axzz2xloIBO5C
