  1. I call this my AMC Trans Am. Because it has all major makes combined in it. MPC body and interior. Amt motion Camaro chassis and engine compartment . Revell engine Johan bellhouse and transmission.
  2. Beautiful
  3. Sorry but I don’t see that being a long term solution . Hobby stuff has little to no UV screeners. I’ll bet the sun eats that up fast
  4. Your Caddy builds are always so nice!!
  5. AMT new release 65 GTO
  6. Looking good man. But you did one of my stunts and forgot something!! Put a trans crossmember under there?
  7. A pretty simple build. Swapped the engine for a Revell 70 Trans Am engine because it has correct intake and exhaust manifolds. Air cleaner from Canuck 3D. The Revell engine doesn’t look as puny as the blob MPC used. Ram air and GTO decals from the new release 68 GTO. 3D print wheels and tires. Dog dish hubcaps sent to me from Keef here on the board. Handmade the dual tip exhaust tips.
  8. Not a Nova fan but man this is nicely done!!
  9. 66 Ford Emberglo is the color wheels by my friend
  10. Except the 66-67 Buick GS was way prettier than their corporate brothers!!
  11. I have always got about twenty in various stages of incompletion. It just so happens a bunch were real close. So I’m finishing the 90% done ones?
  12. 66 Ford Emberglo
  13. One close I like my carpet to be a touch darker than the upholstery color. Most carpet is darker on a real car
  14. I do this all the time. I never can find flocking the colors I do my interiors.
  15. I use a thin piece of felt. I get a color close to my interior color then dunk it in the waterborne color I’m using for the interior. Squeeze out most of the paint and let dry overnight. The next day roll it up one way then the other to soften it back up again. Cut to desired shape and glue it in with CA.
  16. Found this original issue unbuilt at a swap meet a couple years back for cheap. Had the bumpers replated and built it using only out of the box stuff aside from wheels and tires. Hadn’t put the rad hose and battery in when I took the pictures.?
  17. I really like this one. Well done!
  18. There is way more real estate between the bumper and the grill on the model. In the 1::1 it’s even or close to the space between the hood and grille. Doesn’t show too bad in this picture but if you look straight on it does.
  19. Sand the bumpers real smooth. Paint with black lacquer real smooth coat or two. Allow to dry overnight and spray with Revell chrome spray. Walk away from them for a week or preferably two. Them gently add the to the car as the last thing you do.

  21. My first completion of the week was a quick build of the new GTO kit. I really like this kit except for the front grille area. It seems to have to much space between the bottom of the grilles and the top of the bumper. Fit is great however. It’ll still look good on the shelf!
  22. This has been in a perpetual state of 95% done for quite a while. I decided enough is enough this week and finished it up.Was a pretty decent rebuilder aside from the windows and engine being drowned in glue. I found replacement glass. The engine I saved with air cleaner carbs intake and exhaust manifolds from a 65 Riv parts kit. So it now has a dealer installed dual quad setup.
  23. I like this car!!!
  24. Yes just the chrome caps!!!
