The Milliput works great for big stand alone type stuff,...it hardens up overnight and sands fairly easy,.. Mine is about 2 yrs old, so is starting to form a skin around the outside of the hardener,...hard little chips in the mix Then I like to touch up with either Squadron white or Bondo 1 part glazing and spot putty,...

Found a suitable roll bar in the AMT 79 Firebird, made a start on those gills... Rear splitter started Bare bones interior,..I think it has door handles,...but thats it ! More to come ....

Alhtough mine is a 66 not a 65,...the look is what I am trying to achieve

First guess is right Mark Tamiya X-31 Titan Gold, then a wash of Tamiya black and flatt clear

After much sanding filling, etc. Shot it with Duplicolor primer sealer....to seal that squadron putty Still needs a fine sanding, and a light primer before colour.... Cheers
