  12. I always use Dot 3 brake fluid...strips within a couple of hours, can be reused,... and with any strip, Clean well after, with dish soap

  18. Ok,.... Back at it First time opening a trunk,.... Researching on Goog I found that 2/3rds of the rear light valance opens with the lid. I couldn't cut down thru the bumperettes cleanly, so I threw all the bumpers in Easy-Off to de chrome. Filed down the offending bumperettes (I didn't see many '62's that had them anyway), and cut off the middle section. Left side done Wrapped the trunk opening with some styrene, made an attempt at stamped re-enforcements meh and using 1/8" alu. pipe and a paperclip, made up the hinge Came out ok for a first timer IMHO Learn something new everyday (next time ...don't glue the body tube on until I have the wire bent) Phhttt DOH Anywho Cheers
