  9. Speaking of rad,... got mine done for the '62 Impala Stole this from a Dale Jr's And since it will be visible from the outside... covered it with styrene and framed with evergreen strips.... Remembered I had some scale mesh ! Wrapped the frame with duct foil tape Cheers
  10. A little closer to completion.. Interior ..done Some kind of Nascar hodgepodge rear end,... done Badging and lights...done Stripped the bumpers and they are getting the sink marks filled, then chromed Mock up with glass Upholstery tack moonies I started this as an experiment, to see if I could cut up a car body and get it back together for a paint finish,...This kit is a mess, old molds, terrible finish on parts,..bad fit,..etc.,.. but with alot of work it is coming together ok IMHO Anywho it's almost off the bench (only took a year) Q,C + C's welcome Cheers

  15. I agree with Wayne There is nothing worse than spending alot of time sanding a fill of putty and at the worst time having it pop out Fill and glue with styrene first ,..then start to hit it with putty I like to start with Bondo premix (harder) and then white Squadron (easy sand)

  19. I made a promise .....to myself and Tom (Amnesty buiid) The governor came down to Leavenworth, at the last minute, and said, "Leave this one alone".... So I did some things to get 'er closer to finishing.. moved the rad out to facilitate the installation of the engine Made my own shifter (kit on the right) hurried interior ,...started Dash started Overall I might be able to finish this by 2020 at this rate.. Q,. C,. + C's welcome Cheers
  20. That is huge.... Just a tip,... you will want to prime and finish the bottom of the ply before you get much further on the top. Adding all of the paint and primer to one side only, will make that side expand,...and cup,..upwards,... Even plywood! Cheers
